his neck much to Red’s delight, the scruff on his cheeks scratching at his delicate skin. I looked away, feeling like I was witnessing something that I wasn’t meant to.
Picking up my pencil, I doodled little shapes on the edges of my character sheet, ignoring the deep chuckles, the little giggles, and the sweetly whispered words that passed between Red and his Daddy as they cuddled on the couch. It hurt seeing what I could have had if I’d only picked the right man.
What I still want, I thought, finally admitting to myself what I’d felt all along, the real reason I’d decided to come back.
I wanted to be a little again, to lose myself in playtime and cartoons, tea parties and stuffed animal friends. I wanted a Daddy who’d tease and tickle me, who’d kiss my booboos and cuddle me when I’d get scared. I wanted the heat that came from a piercing look and a concisely worded command.
I wanted so much, and I had no idea how to go about getting it.
And that thought led me to Carson. I could feel him next to me, his proximity enough to tingle my senses. I shifted in my chair, feeling a giddiness I hadn’t felt in so long.
The problem was, I knew next to nothing about him. Was he interested in me? Just because he’d comforted me, didn’t mean he wanted me. Was he single? Gay? For all I knew, he had a harem of littles to take care of and didn’t need any more. He owned a BDSM club for crying out loud. He probably had littles throwing themselves at him all the time. Why would he want a broken one? I didn’t even know if he was a nice Daddy or a strict one.
Lee would know, I thought, stealing a glance at him as he checked his phone for the millionth time. Now, the question was, how was I going to pump Lee for information without him making a big deal of it?
Chapter Six
Carson
By the time our three hours were up, Red was in a much better mood and freed from his cell, Miller was slowly coming out of the shell he’d erected around himself, and Chelsey was getting more and more annoyed as the monsters they fought against focused on her.
“Ugh,” she said, throwing down her pencil as her HP rolled past zero. “I fucking hate trolls.”
“And they fucking hate you as well,” Ni replied as he leaned over the table and knocked her miniature over onto its side.
“Will someone kill it before it kills me?” Chelsey asked, glaring at the last troll standing. “Whose turn is it?”
Looking down at the whiteboard in front of me, I went down the initiative list. “Mjölnir’s next.”
“Fire bolt,” Miller stated, not even looking at his sheet.
Nodding, I pointed toward his dice. “Roll to attack,” I said, gently reminding him of the rules. “And you have advantage.”
“Oh, right.” He picked up his dice and rolled. Flipping over his character sheet, he quickly added his modifiers. “Seventeen.”
“It hits. Roll for damage.”
Selecting the correct damage dice, Miller bit his lip as he rolled. Everyone around the table looked on as Miller counted the dots with his fingers. “Thirteen.”
“The fire bolt sails through the air, hitting the last troll square in the chest,” I recounted as I rose from my chair, my eyes locked on Miller’s as I leaned over the table and knocked the troll onto its side, “felling the foul beast.”
“Yes!” Chelsey yelled as she smacked the table. “Take that you green asshole! Now, someone come and heal me.”
“Wait, I killed it?” Miller asked, a proud smile slowly stretching across his face.
“Yep,” I said, plucking the trolls from the table.
“Cool,” he breathed.
I quickly tallied the experience points and doled them out to everyone at the table. “Okay, that’s it for today, guys,” I said, closing my books after making a few notes for our next session.
“I’m going downstairs,” Chelsey said as she hastily packed up her things. “I’ve got a date with a cute ass.”
I quickly looked to Miller to see if he’d heard Chelsey, but he was huddle with Lee over his phone and not paying attention. Chelsey made a quick exit with Niles not too far behind her. Nate had packed up his stuff and was waiting for his boy by the door.
“See ya next week,” Red said as he passed his stuff to me.
Skipping across the room, Red grabbed Nate’s hand and tugged him out the door. “Let’s get
