when they looked at the apartment the other day.
“Is it too fast for us to live together?” I ask.
“We live together now,” Leo points out.
“That’s true,” I agree with a laugh. “But it’s not exactly the same. This was meant to be a temporary arrangement made before we started dating. You’re talking about making a decision as a couple to get an apartment together.”
Leo nods, giving me a sympathetic smile. “I know, it’s a lot to think about. Just, give it some thought? If you don’t want to, I can go back to looking on my own.”
“I’ll think about it,” I agree. Part of me is jumping up and down, urging me to agree now before Leo changes his mind. But the more rational part of my mind is all too aware of all the potential complications of the two of us living together, not just between me and Leo but how it will affect my relationships with Riot and Hudson too.
Our food comes, and we all fall into casual conversation while we eat.
“Can we get the check,” Hudson asks the waiter once all our plates are clean.
“Sure, separate checks?”
“One is fine,” Hudson answers quickly, and the waiter walks away.
“Why’d you get one check?” Leo complains. “I don’t think I have cash on me.”
“I got one check because I’m paying,” he answers.
“I don’t need you to buy me breakfast,” Leo huffs.
Hudson rolls his eyes. “I know you don’t need me to buy you breakfast. It’s called a nice gesture. This place is dirt cheap; it’s not a big deal.”
“I know money doesn’t mean anything to you, but some of us—”
“Guys,” I cut Leo off before he can finish his sentence. “It’s forty dollars. Can you both cool it?”
I reach into my own pocket and pull out three twenties, tossing them onto the table to cover the bill and standing up.
Riot stands up as well, an easy smile on his lips like he’s not the least bit bothered by Hudson and Leo’s bickering. “Anyone else up for spending a lazy day cuddling?” he asks, quirking an eyebrow at me.
“Yes, please,” I groan. “And if you two can behave, you’re welcome to join us.”
Chapter 24
Bishop
I wake up in Riot’s now familiar bedroom. He’s spread out on his back, with me half on top of him. I clearly stole all the blankets during the night, because all he has is a small strip of the sheet draped over his hips, the outline of his cock visible through the thin covering.
I groan and stretch and then crawl the rest of the way on top of him to drag my lips along his roughly stubbled jaw. He rumbles in his sleep, grabbing my ass with both hands and grinding his hardening cock up to meet mine.
“Good morning,” he murmurs, finding my lips and kissing me lazily.
“Morning,” I whisper, tugging his lip ring between my teeth and grinding my cock harder against his.
My phone vibrates on the nightstand, and I groan, dropping my forehead against Riot’s and considering whether or not to ignore the call.
“It’s probably Leo or Hudson,” he reasons.
“I’m sure it is,” I agree. “Which is why it’s tempting to ignore it and have sex with you instead.”
He chuckles and squeezes my ass cheeks again. The vibrating stops, and I tease my tongue along the seam of his lips until he opens. The buzzing starts all over and I sigh. I roll off of Riot reluctantly and reach for my phone.
“What do you want, cock blocker?” I answer, not even bothering to see who’s calling.
“Um…I...uh.”
“Shit, sorry, Elijah, I thought this was Hudson or Leo ruining my morning sex with Riot,” I explain. There’s a sputtery laugh that turns into a cough on the other side of the line, and I smile at how sweetly innocent he is. Pax must have a lot of fun with him.
“Sorry, I was calling to see what kind of bagels you like. Pax and I are stopping to pick up breakfast for everyone on our way over to Alex and Theo’s place.”
“Anything is fine with me. Riot likes anything sweet, and Hudson hates blueberries, but that’s about it. Thanks for checking.” I throw back the blankets and start to get out of bed while Riot protests behind me.
“Great. And um, sorry again. I’ll let you get back to...you know.”
I chuckle. “Thanks. See you in a bit.” I end the call and see that I did, in fact, have a missed call from Hudson.
“Come back to bed,” Riot says, reaching
