biology.
They both seemed to be very much into human bodies, which wasn’t a surprise coming from a sexually driven kitten like Valley and an almost fifty-year-old single man.
“I would love something sweet after this delicious dinner. I didn’t know you can cook so well, Riggs,” Della said with a bright smile.
“It’s something I’ve always loved to do,” I simply responded, getting up from the table and walking back into the kitchen with the empty plates.
Only a few more hours and I could finally stop being this tense.
I had to try and keep my eyes off Valley while she pushed her tits right into my brother’s face.
She was trying to tease him, but Marcus didn’t react much to it surprisingly.
Maybe he knew not to go after an eighteen-year-old teenage girl whose parents were sitting right next to them.
He had at least some self-control, unlike me.

It was almost eleven, and the Bentley’s were still in my house.
Kicking them out was wrong, but to my luck, Della told her husband that after she came back from the bathroom, she wanted to go home and sleep.
Good.
They could take Valley with them and lock her up in her damn room so she wouldn’t get to show off her body to anyone anymore.
Why did she have to look so goddamn hot anyway?
“Let’s say goodbye, Valley. Della will be back quickly,” Andrew told his daughter, but when she looked up from the book she was studying, with Marcus sitting next to her, she frowned and pouted.
She wasn’t ready to leave.
“Marcus and I are talking about something I’m learning in school right now. He knows a lot about living organisms, and he’s pretty good at chemistry too. You know that’s the only class I have trouble with.”
“You have an A minus in chemistry, Valley. I told you it’s okay to have one imperfect grade.”
Valley tilted her head to the side and shrugged. “But I wanna get even better at it. Maybe Marcus can teach me things I don’t know yet. I’m not tired, and I’m sure one of these men can take me home later,” she said, making my blood boil in an instant.
I fisted my hands and held my breath to wait for Andrew’s response while I tried not to shoot angry glares at Valley.
“I guess letting you stay to study isn’t such a bad thing. After all, there aren’t many kids who willingly sit down and study anymore,” he said with a chuckle.
Valley smiled brightly at her father. “Thank you, Dad!”
At this point, I wasn’t even sure if she was just trying to mess with me, or if she’s actually serious.
Either way, I wanted her out of my house, but kicking her out right in front of her father wasn’t gonna work.
I didn’t have an excuse either, as it was Marcus who’d have to keep up with her.
And this way I could make sure they wouldn’t do something stupid. Like make out. Or fuck.
That’s what I wanted to do with her.
“Get her home by midnight, will you?” Andrew asked me.
I couldn’t say no, so I nodded and shot Valley one quick glance before Della came back.
“Are you coming, Val?” she asked.
“She’s staying a little while longer to study. Marcus knows a few things about biology and all that stuff.”
“Oh, you do? Did you study it?” she asked surprised.
Marcus turned to look at Della and nodded. “Always liked that subject in school. If I would’ve had my life under control a little more when I was Valley’s age, I might’ve become a teacher.”
You’re just a lazy fuck, I thought, taking my eyes off Valley’s again.
“Oh, it’s never too late, you know? I’ll see you again soon, Marcus. It was nice to finally meet you.”
“You too, Della. Good night,” Marcus said, nodding at Andrew.
They were both playing a role tonight, and I wasn’t sure if they knew that about each other.
I walked Andrew and Della to the front door and thanked them for coming, and after saying goodbye, I took a deep breath before heading back to the living room where Valley and Marcus were sitting close to each other with the book Marcus got from the guest bedroom he was staying in.
Not sure why he had that book with him, but he brought more things than needed from New Mexico.
Guess he planned on staying a little while longer than I had anticipated.
While they talked about things I didn’t understand much about, I went into the kitchen and poured myself a glass of whiskey, needing something strong and
