and checking the silencers were in place. We were outnumbered here, but we also had the element of surprise and were on a seriously big yacht. This thing was so fucking huge that we had a good shot of moving around it unnoticed so long as we were careful. And by the time we made it to Ramon, I wanted him to know that there wasn’t a single soul left to help him. That he was all alone out here and that death had tracked him down.
We moved to stand by the door and I peered out of the small, round window set into it to see if there was anyone out there for us to deal with first.
“Into the fires of hell we go,” Enzo purred with a grin and I couldn’t help but smile too.
We’re coming, savage girl, god have mercy on anyone who tries to stop us.
I opened the door and headed out with my brothers on my heels. We jogged up a short flight of stairs and Frankie and Rocco turned left as Enzo and I headed right. We were going to work our way from the stern to the bow, one level at a time and move up as a group. Every man we found needed to die and they needed to go quietly so that no one sounded an alarm. There were three levels to the yacht and we were hoping that Ramon would have locked Winter away somewhere for us to find to keep her away from the bullets. But whatever way this played out, I was going to get my savage girl back tonight and I’d make a widow out of her too.
My heart pounded and adrenaline sang in my veins as we began to move along the ship.
A man stepped out of a door ahead of us and I fired the moment it closed behind him, catching him in the back of the head with the bullet and sending him crashing over the railing and into the sea below where he was quickly left behind by the speed of the boat.
Enzo clapped a hand on my shoulder before moving to stand beside a door and pull it open. I peeked around the corner, finding a staff kitchen which was clearly empty before we moved on.
Our feet moved silently across the deck and we stalked the yacht like death given flesh. Each man we found met with their end, more than one of them falling into the sea and the mercy of the sharks.
Though we used our guns most often, I was already ending up with a coating of blood on my flesh and I was sure I’d be dressed in red by the time this night was through, but I’d happily do that and more for my girl. I’d make the decks of this place run with rivers of blood if that was what it took to save her.
The cold wind whipped around us and I tasted salt on my lips as we prowled through the shadows and closed in on our target. Ramon Hernandez’s minutes were numbered and each tick of the clock counted down to his last breath.
Look out for me, savage girl, the wolves are hunting tonight.
Ramon leaned over me, his hand in his pants as he fisted his dick, panting in my ear. I threw my head back as hard as I possibly could and he roared as his nose cracked loudly, his weight leaving me in an instant. My heart leapt as I scrambled off of the bed, rushing to the nightstand drawer and tugging it open. With my memories stirring, I recalled some of Ramon's habits and as I’d hoped, there was a knife waiting for me inside. I grabbed it quickly, twisting it between my fingers and slicing through the zip-tie.
I swung around, but Ramon leapt upon me in a rage. I screamed as I hit the nightstand and my back hit the wall behind it. I slashed at him with the knife with a yell of determination and it sliced along his bicep, making him grunt in pain. He grabbed my wrist, wrestling the knife from my hand and it fell to the floor with a thump that made fear clutch my chest. I tried to wriggle my way free, but he grabbed my throat and pinned me back against the wall with his teeth bared.
Blood was streaming down from his shattered nose and he sneered at me in abject rage as he
