thanking the Maker that my sister had learned sign language. How had I forgotten about that? At least now my poor mate wouldn’t have to be completely lost and surrounded by two idiots. Just me, thank you very much. The worst part? I had almost taken the class with Lena, but then stuff for the pack had come up. I shook my head, feeling frustrated with my previous choices.
“I wish I could sign back better,” Lena sighed wistfully, realizing that she could hear just not speak. “I need to practice more, but at least I can translate for this guy over here. Come in by the way! I made food. Are you hungry? Of course you are, you are absolutely tiny, but hey! Us short girls have to stick together--”
I nodded towards the apartment as Colette looked back at me, my sister still rambling. I held up my cell phone because I needed to at least tell my brothers. I could see a slight concern in my mate’s eyes as I realized she was worried about why I wasn’t following.
“Don’t worry, baby, I’ll be right in. I have to call someone.”
With a short nod, her cheeks heating, she walked through the door and shut it gently.
I closed my eyes, rubbed a hand across my chest, feeling how fast my heart was beating. This was turning out to be a far more interesting weekend than I’d expected.
Now to tell my brothers I’d found the woman of our dreams and hope like hell they wouldn’t scare her off with their crazy.

As I woke, I considered briefly that my experience the night before had been some odd crazy dream. I mean, when in my life had I been that close to a man that beautiful? Hell! When had I ever seen a man that beautiful? And one who also made me feel so comfortable? Completely unreal.
The small apartment, with warm walls and filled with the scent of stew, had instantly made me feel comfortable. Lena’s happy voice had me smiling throughout most of dinner. It was clear to me that they were siblings even without being told.
While Lena was much smaller, around my height, she had the same gold eyes as her brother. Their faces also held similar characteristics except for the bright teal hair that surrounded hers. The woman was extremely friendly and hyperactive, speaking to the fact that she was a bunny shifter, as she had explained almost right away.
I smiled sleepily, thinking about how easy it had been to get along with her. I really hoped I hadn’t imagined all of last night. I mean, what were the chances that I had found a new home, a sexy shifter, and a possible new friend? I squeezed my eyes further shut sending up a prayer to the Maker that I would open my eyes to the yellow-walled guest bedroom that I’d fallen asleep in.
Finally opening my eyes, I blinked. Realizing that it appeared to be early Saturday morning. The skies outside looked rather sunny compared to the weather yesterday, making me more excited to explore Willowdale.
A large forearm tightened around my hoodie-covered waist making me squeak. I turned my head and my face heated to find Dylan. Oh, my Maker.
The massive man was shirtless, my eyes flickering down to see that he just had his jeans on, hanging low on his hips and showing off a ridiculous hot and impressive ‘V.’ His white-blonde hair was messy and his golden skin was covered in tattoos that had my fingers twitching, wanting to explore him more than I already was. I couldn’t believe I was in bed with this intoxicating man.
Hadn’t he been sleeping on the couch? I mean, I wasn’t complaining, but why wasn’t he? I blushed further, glad he was sleeping and hating how pale I was, as I tried to wiggle from his arms. It didn’t work.
He let out a low growl, tugging me back closer to him and nipping my shoulder gently.
I let out a small whimper, trying to cover a moan, as I squirmed against his extremely hard cock pressed against my ass. It wasn’t just our physical bodies that were reacting to one another. No, my magic was going fucking haywire.
Our animals were circling one another and playfully interacting. She nipped at him as he rolled her over, licking the side of her face and making me shiver. Yeah, this was a bit messed up.
I had never interacted with other shifters, but I didn’t think it
