UnHinge Me (Savage Beast MC #6) - Hayley Faiman Page 0,11
no one’s,” I grate out.
His lips curve into a grin. “It’s going to be a helluva fun time proving that statement wrong, mi reina.”
My lips part in a mixture of awe and fear. I don’t know what to say, how to respond. He continues to smile at me. The men from the front seat climb out and leave us alone as they talk to the people who have taken the girls away.
“Who are you?” I breathe.
He chuckles, shaking his head once. “Mountain.”
My eyes scan his body, then lift to meet his. He’s definitely not a small man. In fact, he kind of looks like how I would describe a mountain of a man. It seems like an extremely appropriate nickname for him.
“Mountain,” I say, trying it out on my lips.
I watch as his eyes darken a touch and if I’m not mistaken, they even glitter a little. He lifts his hand, wrapping his huge fingers around the side of my neck. Just the palm of his hand practically covers the entirety of my throat.
Gulping, I watch as he grins, no doubt feeling my throat swallow. We stare at one another for a long moment. He licks his lips, then leans forward. My breath hitches as I wait for his lips to touch my own. I don’t just want it, I need to feel his kiss and I don’t even know why.
“Leighton, I wasn’t supposed to keep you,” he rasps just centimeters away from my mouth.
I don’t say anything, too afraid that if I speak, he won’t kiss me. I would do just about anything in this moment to feel his lips on mine. Anything. He inhales deeply, then lets out a groan before he rests his forehead against my own.
What he doesn’t do is kiss me.
Instead, he pushes away from me and grunts as soon as the front doors open and the other two men climb inside of the van. Scooting away from him, I lean against the side of the van as I watch them.
They all pretend that I don’t exist and I’m oddly just fine with that. Mainly because Mountain glances in my direction every few moments as if he’s checking to make sure I’m either okay or still there, either way, it kind of feels nice.
There is something seriously wrong with me, and I know that. I should not be looking to this man as a savior. He kidnapped me and probably killed my father, but then again, maybe that makes him just that—a savior.
MOUNTAIN
There is something about her. Something that makes me want to come completely fucking unhinged just at the sight of her. I want to strip her bare and claim her right here in front of my men. In front of my best friends. No fucks given. My cock wants nothing more than to be inside of her right this very second.
I can’t do that though, she was in that house and I need to know exactly what she knows. Every fucking thing. Then, I’ll fuck her. After I’ve had my fill of her rich girl privileged pussy, I’ll get rid of her.
We stop at a gas station only a few hours from home. Climbing out, I stretch, hating sitting in the back of the van, it fucks me up every time. Dragon is fiddling with the gas, but it’s Silver who turns to me, crossing his arms over his chest as he arches a brow in my direction.
“What’re you doin’?” he asks, his voice low. I shrug a shoulder, looking at my boots. “Mountain, brother,” he sighs.
“Couldn’t leave her there, couldn’t take her out,” I admit, lifting my gaze to meet his.
“Yeah? What’s your fuckin’ plan? Gonna whore her?”
Narrowing my eyes, I feel an immediate tightness in my chest at the idea of any of my brothers touching her. She’s mine. At least until I no longer want her.
“Not a clubwhore then.” He chuckles, reading the anger in my gaze.
I snort. “No, not a clubwhore,” I grind out.
“Then what? Your Old Lady? You don’t know her, nothin’ about her.”
“No Old Lady either. Just… mine for now,” I say, shrugging a shoulder.
He watches me silently for a moment, then lets out a sigh. “Dragon ain’t gonna let you keep her at the clubhouse. You taking her home to your place in town?”
“My brother’s?” I ask, curling my lip in disgust.
He chuckles. “You still own it. Club’s been payin’ the property taxes on it all these years. May as well clean it out and store
