The Tracker Hive Academy Year One - Avery Song Page 0,78
we love to piss Tanner off. Bad example."
"I really love you." He shook his head with a wide grin. "It's going to be fun serving you, queen."
"Baby is better," I mumbled. "Queen sounds...too important."
"You are important, Jade. My baby and Hive Queen." He winked.
"Hive Queen. I can do with that," I muttered. "Just not often."
He laughed and turned us over again, my back now pressed against the sheets while his hand slid between my legs.
I moaned, the sound muffled by his impatient lips. "Whatever you like, baby," he whispered against my lips. "But I want sex time now."
"Me too," I moaned and kissed him.
"I'll talk to Zion in the morning, all right," he whispered as he trailed kisses down my neck and teased my pussy folds once more.
"Mhm," I breathed and moaned when his fingers slid into me. "Sure."
"You don't care now."
"You have your fingers up in my hot space, which gives me the right not to care," I breathed. "No more talking."
"You're really hot when you're all commanding," he complimented but did as I asked while claiming my lips.
"Don't worry, baby. I'll rid you of all your troubles."
My body relaxed and I moaned in response, knowing he would do what he could to make things better. To make life better.
He wouldn't be able to solve all my troubles, but his words told me he would stick around and wasn’t here just for the sex and connection.
He was here to stay, and I hoped the others were in this for the long haul. I certainly was.

Shadow Us From Danger And Desperate Connection
~TWO WEEKS LATER~

"Is it my turn to wear the prototype?" I asked, skipping around Zeus as he slowly walked down the hall to our lockers.
"Yeah. Just give me a moment to set it up. Zion's telling me the instructions because Zackery lost them."
Our outdoor session was done an hour ago, but we'd stayed behind to stretch and practice a few spells. It wasn't necessary, but when someone, as in Zeus, challenged you to a thunderstorm battle, you didn’t decline.
You playfully fight until he gets frustrated and rewards you with steamy kisses.
My gym attire for today was a white tank top, black sports bra, and red booty shorts. I chose it because I needed the flexibility, but I also liked hearing Zeus’ mumbling complaints about how revealing it was.
I'm sure it was his way of saying he didn't want anyone enjoying my curves.
So far, there hadn't been another incident where a student had been found dead, but we predicted the person planning all of this was studying our moves just like we were studying theirs.
My week with Zackery was spent reviewing all the student profiles and making a list of high risks. We had about fifteen people who were easy targets and another five that were maybes.
I was on the top of the list, the bait for whoever was planning all of this. They hadn't made another move to trap us, but we weren't going to take our chances.
We switched routes every day, which always threw off Calvin, who continued to stalk us and call me queen. The nickname annoyed the hell out of me, but he wasn't a bother to me in general.
I was fine with him being around because he was a tech wiz. We may not need him now, but his annoying loyalty could aid us later on.
I'd spent the week before with Zion, and he’d begun to work on the hallucination medication. He'd done a bunch of tests, especially on Shadow Jade, since she was my strongest element.
Watching him work on that and the watch prototypes to track the weird hidden energy of our culprit was intriguing. It interested me how he could be so determined and concentrate for long periods of time.
Shadow Jade could attempt to destroy his lab-like room, and he wouldn't care until after he was done with whatever he'd been focused on.
When Zeke had asked him to begin the analysis for the medication, he hadn’t asked me a bunch of questions. Just the basics: height, weight, blood type, and if I had any allergies.
When he did have to dive in for more information it was only to determine whether I had any triggers that would set off a hallucination or delusion.
His overall assessment was nowhere near the number of questions they asked in mental institutes before they made you an involuntary patient or administered the most basic medication that didn’t come close to fixing your problem.
