have. The more of herself she hands over to me, the more addicted to her I become.
I throw my head back, rotating my waist underneath her. “I could stay inside you forever.”
She’s biting her lip as she grinds against me, holding back her moans, her groans, the way she gasps my name as my cock fills her.
“Say my name,” I moan into her mouth, playing with her clit.
She rides me harder. “Archer.”
“Again.”
She rides me deeper. “Archer.”
“A-fucking-gain.”
This time, she moans out my name while falling apart. I keep her still, my fingers pressing into her hips, while I pound inside her until I’m the one groaning her name.

“You sure you’re ready to be back?” Cohen asks, walking into my office. “If you need more time off, I got you.”
I shake my head. “Nah, being here is what I need.”
Today is Lincoln’s first day back too. Like me, he’s ready for something to take his mind off losing Dad. It’s worse for him, though. Not only was he closer with our father but he also doesn’t have much of anyone now. I have Georgia and my friends, but he spends his nights either in the guest room of my penthouse or at Mom’s. I need to get my shit together and be a better big brother.
Tonight will be the first night I sleep without Georgia next to me since my father’s death. My stomach hollows at the thought. Tomorrow is her first day of working at the school, and I don’t want to wake her up after my shift.
Cohen crosses his arms and rests his back against the bare wall. Unlike his office, there are no chairs for visitors in mine—a great preventive measure. If there’s nowhere for them to get comfortable, they won’t stay longer than necessary.
Cohen kicks his shoes against the floor. “You and my sister, huh?”
I nod, leaning back in my chair, flipping a pen in my hand. “Me and your sister.”
Cohen waits for me to elaborate.
I don’t.
Dating Georgia won’t change everything about me. Yes, I’m coming around more, but I’ll always be closed off to everyone but her.
“I forgot about how you talk so much.” He shakes his head. “Dude, you need to learn when to shut up.”
I shrug. “Mr. Social over here.”
He shoves his hands into his pockets. “Is it too soon to ask a favor?”
“Depends on the favor.”
“It’s a favor for Maliki.”
“Yeah?”
Maliki is Cohen’s best friend who worked with us before moving home. He owns Down Home Pub, a bar in Blue Beech that’s been in his family for decades. Down Home is in the next county, and before Cohen agreed to buy our building, he double-checked to make sure it was okay with Maliki. Cohen didn’t want him to see us as competition. Maliki didn’t give a shit, of course, and ripped Cohen’s ass for thinking he would.
“Sierra’s sister needs a job,” he says.
I raise a brow. “A job here?”
He nods.
“Sierra is engaged to Maliki, and he owns Down Home Pub. Why doesn’t he hire her sister there?”
“Not sure of the full story, but it seems she needs to get out of town for a while.”
I shrug. “Fine with me.”
“Cool. I’ll schedule an interview for her to come in.”
“Sounds good.”
He turns to walk out, but before he does, he stares at me over his shoulder. “I’m happy for you. You and my sister deserve it, man. Be good to her.”
“Dude, do I even have a roommate anymore?” Lincoln asks, stepping behind me at the bar.
I throw my arms out. “You see me standing here, don’t you?”
He flips me off. “Will you be at home tonight or snuggling with your girlfriend?”
I’ve spent most of my nights at Georgia’s—even though I complain about it and offer to buy her a new bed every night I’m there. For some reason, she says Grace doesn’t like staying by herself. The nights Georgia has stayed with me is when Grace is at her parents’ or siblings’ houses. She won’t explain why Grace doesn’t like shit that goes bump in the night while she’s home alone.
“Home tonight,” I answer.
“Guess you’ll have to watch movies and feed me strawberries instead of Georgia then.”
“Funny,” I deadpan.
I text Georgia throughout my shift until she tells me good night with a row of kissy-face emojis.
At the end of the night, I close the bar and go home. When I sluggishly walk to my bedroom after work and dive into my bed, I miss the heat of her body next to me. Setting my alarm, I
