“Tai said it was on the floor by one of the boxes. It must have fallen off when Talena dropped off all that stuff. See the clasp.” Cosmo pointed at the end.
“Thanks, brother. I’ll make sure it gets fixed and give it back to Talena.” He shoved it into his front pocket, wondering if she noticed it was gone. For the last two years, he’d never seen her without it on.
“Women need us to show we care in more ways than just buying them pretty things, you know?” Cosmo’s voice dropped to a low murmur. “I can buy Tai just about anything she could ever want. Hell, I could take her to any shop on Rodeo Drive and recreate that scene from Pretty Woman for her, but do you know she’s happier when I hold her in my arms and listen to her talk. Not just pretend to listen, but truly hear her words. I don’t just do it to get my dick in her either.
