Rocked (The Everyday Heroes World) - Julia Wolf Page 0,88
her head thrashing, a smile curving her pretty lips. All the while, her eyes stayed open and trained on me.
“Yes,” she whispered. “Yes, yes, yes.”
She tightened around me, and it took every ounce of my control not to come. She wasn’t quite there yet, and I needed her to get there first.
“You’re mine. You’re all mine,” I growled. My hips rocked against her, swirling her insides the way she loved.
Her fingers dug into my biceps. “Mine,” she answered back. Her neck arched, and her eyes finally broke from mine as they rolled away in pleasure.
I pulled out as soon as she finished coming, sliding my fist up and down my aching cock. “Can I come on you?” Oh fuck, I hoped the answer was yes.
Nodding, her fingers wrapped around mine, moving up and down my cock with me. Her other hand trailed over her stomach and nipples, showing me where she wanted it. A few pumps, and I spilled on her smooth skin, grunting like the wild man she’d turned me into. She was painted with my pleasure, droplets of white sliding down the peak of her nipple and welling in her belly button.
I shook my head, sitting back on my heels. “Never seen anything prettier in my life.”
“Yeah?” She propped herself up on her elbows to peer at her torso. “That is pretty nice. Almost as good as your mouth looks after you’ve spent some time between my legs.”
“Oh fuck, you’re making my dick hard again. You have to give me some time to recover. I’m too damn old for this.” I grabbed a couple napkins from the coffee table and cleaned her off as best I could, then laid down beside her, pulling her onto my chest.
“Did I imagine Leroy coming out here and giving us a disgusted look?” she asked.
“Nope, that happened. Dog definitely judged us.”
She grinned, her eyes heavy-lidded and sexy. “I thought so.”
I pressed a kiss to her forehead, then her lips. “I like pretending with you.”
“Mmm...yeah.” She snuggled closer. “This is really good.”
It was. It was also going to rip me apart to walk away. But I would anyway.

Ellie was buzzing with nerves. She’d put on her favorite dress, let me curl her hair, even wore a little lip gloss—she referred to it as stage makeup. She’d practiced with Devon every single day she was home over the last several weeks, but she still worried she’d screw up once she got on stage. They were going to play two songs, but the second one was a surprise, even to me. They’d banned me from their practices so I wouldn’t hear it.
I was buzzing with nerves for a different reason. Devon and I had spent a week in each other’s arms. While Ellie was at school, we spent entire days having sex and talking. We went out for meals and took Leroy for walks. The two of us were extremely talented at pretending.
But that was all over tomorrow. He’d be leaving, and I had no idea if I’d ever hear from him again. Part of pretending was not talking about what happened after.
We didn’t have to talk about it for me to be sure my heart would be broken when his taillights flashed away from Sunnyville for the final time. I’d been so dumb to think I could survive Devon Chambers while keeping my heart intact.
I gave Ellie a long squeeze. “You’re going to rock that stage. I have no doubt. Do you know how proud I am of you for being brave enough to put yourself out there?”
She clung to me, her glasses pressing into my chest. “I don’t feel brave right now. I feel like I might barf.”
“You won’t.”
There was a knock on our door, then Devon opened it, sticking his head inside. “Is my partner ready?”
I grinned at him over Ellie’s head. “We’re a little nervous.”
Ellie let go of me to turn to Devon. “I might barf,” she repeated.
He grimaced. “Please don’t. If you barf, then I’ll barf, and it’ll be a thing. Probably an international incident.”
That made her laugh. “They’ll take pictures for all the newspapers.”
“The headlines will rip me apart. ‘Superstar Devon Chambers ruins small town Harvest Festival.’ It’ll be a bloodbath.”
My eyebrow arched. “I like that you think major newspapers will be covering Sunnyville’s Harvest Festival.”
He shrugged. “You never know. Word might’ve gotten out about Ells’ performance and now they’re out there clamoring for her.”
Ellie clutched her stomach. “That’s not helping me.”
