swelled again, trapped between his torso and Leo’s ridged abs. “Come on, come on.”

He pulled Leo close for a deep kiss of sliding lips, clashing teeth, and hot, wet tongues while Leo took control of his body, his forceful yet tender lovemaking chasing away all the pain and hurt Morgan had known. Stars exploded behind his eyes as Leo’s thick shaft powered into him. His fingernails dug into Leo’s shoulder, and he clasped his muscles tight to hold Leo inside. They meshed in a way he’d never known, his body responding instinctively to what Leo wanted and when, with Leo in return giving him soft kisses until the ache and pressure grew overwhelming and he locked his ankles around Leo’s waist.

“More, more. God, Leo…need you.”

“Oh fuck. Yeah.” Leo bore down, and Morgan held on as a smaller but no less intense orgasm blew through him. Leo’s hips pistoned in and out, the muscles across his back flexing and tensing. He buried his face in Morgan’s neck and nipped the skin, his body shaking as he climaxed, filling the condom with heat.

They lay still, sweat drying on their skin while Morgan waited for his thundering heart to settle and his breathing to return to normal. It surprised him that Leo hadn’t withdrawn and rolled right off him like Jeffrey always did. Jeffrey had never liked intimacy afterward. Morgan’s arms and legs were still wrapped around Leo, and he let go, albeit reluctantly, not wanting to push a limit he was unsure of.

“Am I hurting you?” Leo breathed in his ear and slowly withdrew. Morgan winced, hating that empty feeling. “I didn’t mean to. Sorry.”

A little shy now that they were separated, Morgan shifted away from Leo, certain he wouldn’t want cuddling. “No, you didn’t. I’m fine.” He put even more space between them and averted his eyes.

Leo’s expression turned guarded. “Okay, well, if you want to take a shower, feel free.”

Why did he feel like he was being dismissed? He thought…well, he didn’t know what he thought might happen. It seemed for a moment that they’d connected on more than a physical level, but now Leo had withdrawn, his face a blank. Morgan wanted that tender, sweet lover he hadn’t expected.

“Thanks, yeah. I guess so…” In a haste, he scrambled away and fell off the bed, landing with a hard oof on the floor. Leo peered over the side.

“Can’t wait to leave? Don’t worry. You don’t have to feel like you’re slumming it. It was an itch we both needed to scratch.”

“Gee, thanks.” Morgan gathered his clothing and stomped over to the bathroom. He rinsed off quickly and dried, then pulled on his clothes and strode out to the bedroom. His hair was still wet and dripping, his legs and ass ached, but he didn’t care. All he wanted was to get out of that apartment as quickly as possible. He shoved his feet into his sneakers and left Leo in the bed, staring at him.

“Hey, Morgan,” Leo called after him, but Morgan ignored him. Head held high, his eyes smarting with tears he refused to shed, Morgan flung the apartment door open and stormed out. His phone buzzed, and he ignored that as well, but it continued to vibrate until he finally pulled it out, only to see it was Chris.

“Hi.”

“Hey, we were out and thought we’d stop by and say hi and see your new digs. Is this a good time?”

Morgan could’ve laughed. A good time? Not exactly, but maybe seeing Chris and Sean would be what he needed to take his mind off what happened with Leo. “Sure. When?”

He stood by the front entrance, leaning against the door, and his eyes widened as he looked through the glass and saw his two friends walk up the block.

“How about now?”

Morgan shoved the phone into his pocket and opened the door.

“Surprise,” Chris called out, laughing, and Morgan met them halfway down the path leading to the building.

They all hugged, and Morgan smirked. “What would you have done if I said I was busy?”

“Wiseass.”

“I see other people have your number, 5C.”

Morgan spun around to see Leo in the doorway, his sweaty hair curling around his neck.

“What do you want?” Morgan snapped, hating how his body responded, every nerve ending popping to attention at the mere sound of Leo’s voice.

“Dude. That was kinda rude.” Chris nudged him. “Are you going to introduce us?”

“Yeah, 5C. It was, especially since I have your wallet.” Leo held it between his thumb and forefinger. “You left
