started moving again, it began slowly, then picked up to a near frenzy within moments.
With Gunther and Jacob sharing space inside her, and Teague thrusting deep inside Jacob from behind, she knew it was more right than it could ever get.
“I love you so much,” she breathed in the midst of her climax a moment later, repeating it over and over as the four of them came. When the wild writhing eased and they all relaxed and parted enough to breathe, she sat up and crawled to the center of the bed facing the others on her knees.
“I’m ready. I want to mark all of you tonight.”
Teague shot up to sitting with a bright smile. “Hell yes!”
Jake snorted. “Cool your jets, Mr. Overeager. Are you sure? We don’t need you to do it out of a sense of guilt or anything.”
“I’m sure,” she said with a grin. “I’ve never been so sure of anything. You guys know everything now, and I trust you. From here on out, I don’t want us to keep any secrets from each other, okay?”
“I’m in,” Gunther said, kneeling at her side.
Teague moved close to her other side and Jake knelt in front of her, smiling his handsome smile that made dimples appear in his cheeks that she constantly wanted to kiss.
Her heart pounded as she summoned her dragon’s magic, inwardly rolling her eyes at the beast’s murmur. “It’s about time.”
She faced Teague first, pressing her glowing palm to his left pec. The golden light beneath flared brightly for a second, and when she pulled her hand away, the Sandrekar emblem of a dragon in flight remained behind, still glowing faintly in the darkness.
“Wicked,” Teague said, looking down at it.
She turned to Jake next and repeated the process, accepting a sweet kiss from him when it was done. Then she moved to Gunther, whose blue eyes were so intense and full of love she thought she might explode with her own love in return.
“I’m sorry I waited,” she whispered as she marked her third mate.
“Never be sorry for anything, honey,” he said, then wrapped his big arms around her and pressed her back down onto the bed.
They didn’t let her rest much despite her setback, diving back into training the next day with a vengeance. Ksenia wouldn’t have had it any other way. She resolved to focus on fully shifted air combat, determined to train her dragon to maintain control over her cloaking power.
Her impenetrable hide was a passive, constant thing that she couldn’t exactly turn off, but the guys assured her that it wasn’t the sort of ability the League frowned on, though they would require her to report it. They wore armor for a reason, and while combat wounds weren’t uncommon in the arena, deliberate attacks to maul were grounds for penalties, if not outright banning offenses.
“If anything, it’s a good thing,” Jake said. “Because if that fucking toxin shows up again, it’ll protect you.”
After their stories about the doping scandal and the deaths it had caused, she made a more concerted effort to study League history instead of just gluing herself to vids of old arena matches. She even went as far as brushing up on Nova Aurora history, at least the events that had occurred since the Sandrekar went underground.
Her training was only briefly interrupted that weekend when they stopped to prepare for the Hot Wings party at their lodge across the lake. It would be the fanciest party Ksenia had ever attended, since she’d never been invited to anything quite so grand back home. It meant buying her a new dress and the guys getting decked out in fresh finery of their own.
She adored the way their eyes lit up when she strolled down the staircase to where they waited by the door, their gazes sliding over her curves. Her long, metallic gown shimmered with iridescent color that matched her scales, the draping fabric cascading all the way to the floor. She had her hair up in fighting style, but had threaded more iridescent filaments through the long strands that shimmered with light when she moved, and she’d anointed her chest and cleavage with a cream that brought out the color of her scales without her having to shift.
“That woman is ours,” Teague said, marveling at her as she came toward them. “Holy shit, how did we get so lucky?”
She couldn’t help but beam at him. His adoration earned him a deep kiss that made his bear rumble deep inside, and
