and put his lips against Felix’s ear. “I was referring to how long I’d last inside you the first time. We both know I’d make you come hard for me before we ever arrived at penetration.”
Jude’s hot breath tickled his flesh, and the urge to melt into Jude’s embrace nearly overpowered Felix’s common sense. Only his grip on Jude’s lapels kept him upright and rigid, but his grasp on his self-control was tenuous at best.
“By the time I flooded your ass with my spunk, you’d be fully erect and ready for round two. Do you remember what would happen next?”
Of course, he did. Jude would offer up his ass for Felix.
Jude bit down on Felix’s earlobe and dragged his teeth over the flesh until it popped free. “You’re the only one I’ve ever given myself to like that.” Felix had known the truth back then but was stunned to hear Jude hadn’t bottomed since. The confession was nearly the straw that broke his restraint.
Felix relaxed his grip and released Jude’s lapels. He took a step back, attempting to break the embrace, but Jude only tightened his fingers.
“Any harder and you’ll leave marks,” Felix warned in a teasing tone that contradicted the emotions riding him hard. There’s that damn phrase again.
Jude rubbed his nose along the sensitive flesh beneath Felix’s ear. “Good.”
Felix shivered and Jude chuckled.
“Less than four minutes,” Felix said.
Jude released Felix’s hips and headed for the same door Rocky had exited through. Felix waited a heartbeat before turning and following Jude. The corridor on the other side of the door was illuminated by cobalt blue diamond sconces on the wall and tape lighting in the same hue running along the edges of the floor. The club music piped through the hidden speakers was heavy on the bass. Excitement crackled and popped along his spine as Felix’s heart tried to match the tempo. They’d only made it a few feet before Jude stopped suddenly and shoved Felix against the wall.
“Why are you really here?” Jude asked.
Felix raised his chin and stared defiantly into Jude’s eyes. “The same reason you are.”
“Yeah?” Jude asked, pushing his knee between Felix’s legs until Jude’s thick thigh rested just under Felix’s taut balls. “You’re looking to fuck?”
“Someone who isn’t you,” Felix countered.
Jude dropped his gaze to Felix’s throat. Could he see Felix’s pulse pounding beneath his skin, or could he hear Felix’s heart trying to beat its way out of his chest? Jude met Felix’s eyes once more, smiling broadly so the dimples were on full display. Tricky bastard. Jude leaned forward, and Felix thought he was going to kiss him. He stopped just shy and whispered, “Liar.” Jude’s breath ghosted over his lips, and it was as hot as the accusation.
Felix was lying, but he was only willing to admit it to himself. “Three minutes.”
Jude pouted playfully. “I don’t think my five minutes should start before I get you someplace private where we can talk.”
Felix shook his head. “That wasn’t the deal we struck.”
Jude pressed tighter against Felix’s body, feeling every inch of him. “You’re a hard man.”
Felix refused to take the bait. Yeah, Jude could feel the way Felix’s body had reacted to his bold moves and his dirty talk. So what. Felix still had a firm grip on his heart, and that’s what mattered the most.
Jude heaved a sigh, then shoved off the wall. “Come on.”
There was another door at the far end of the corridor. Jude opened it, and they stepped inside the jack of diamonds area. The layout and look were similar to the first section, but everything was elevated here, starting with the presence of a dance floor where several people danced seductively to the music. The servers wore fewer clothes, and the people in the booths weren’t eating food as he and Rocky had in the jack of clubs area. Felix caught glimpses of lap dances and make-out sessions. So far, everyone had remained fully clothed in this area of the club.
And there was no sign of Rocky anywhere.
“This way,” Jude said before Felix had a chance to really scope out the place. Felix was torn between curiosity to see the club and hearing whatever bullshit line Jude would deliver.
A server who looked more like a dark-haired Adonis smiled at Jude as he approached. Jude stopped and chatted briefly with the man, and Felix wondered how intimately Jude knew him. Jealousy burned through Felix, followed by anger for allowing himself to care.
Jude Arrow was nothing to him. He
