tuxes, standing with Frost, which meant Gil had to come. He didn’t really want to watch his ex-wife remarry, but his children needed to be there, so he was going to buck up and be an adult.
By the time the white stretch limo picked us up hours later, my hair and makeup were perfect, and so was everyone else’s.
Frost
Never has anyone more beautiful walked down the aisle. This woman who loved me so fully, so completely, was going to vow in front of all of our friends that she’d spend the rest of her days with me, till death do us part.
We’d designed matching wedding bands. Simple platinum bands with a single diagonal row of alternating jadeite and blue diamond, embedded so we didn’t have to worry about knocking them loose. On the inside, the jeweler had stamped a tiny feather and claw.
There was no way to pick who should stand beside me, but in the end, I’d had to. Squatch had both rings, waiting until we needed them.
But I only had eyes for the beauty walking down the aisle to me in a white wedding dress without an ounce of lace on it, because she isn’t that kind of woman. It was elegant, and classy. Clean lines that showed that gorgeous figure off without baring any of it. The only decoration was pearls sewn onto the high neck, the cuffs, and the tiny little waistline. It had a built-in corset, which wasn’t exactly fair because my dick tried to grow in my pants despite the huge audience.
I’d heard someone talking about how tiny her waist was in the corset, but I hadn’t seen it.
She didn’t know it, but we were going to start making use of corsets and waist cinchers in our kink, because that look flat out did it for me.
She climbed the steps, her gaze holding mine, and I once again fell into the beautiful vibrant green.
“Your eyes are deep, deep blue,” she told me.
“I love you more than it should be possible to love another human being.”
She grinned. “Well, I’m not entirely human, so it’s probably okay.”
We’d decided to go with the standard vows, including honor and obey for her, but not me, of course.
But when the non-denominational minister got to the part with the rings, she said this part, instead of him.
Her clear voice rang out over the room. I could hear her nerves, but no one else would be able to.
“Green and blue. Feather and claw. You and me. Forever.”
I repeated it back to her, and we put the rings on each other’s fingers.
I remembered how she’d answered me when I asked her to marry me, and I followed it up with that. “Forever. Us. In whatever form that means.”
