I rubbed your pussy with ice? Or how you screamed when I went down on you and made you come all over my face?”
“I’m working here, and there are small kids around!” I warn him through gritted teeth, annoyed that my body perked right up at the reminder of the things we did together.
Ignoring me, he goes on to say, “That night is all I’ve thought about for weeks.”
I have to get rid of him, not only because I don’t want to get fired if my boss comes out and sees us talking, but because I cannot let myself go down that road again.
“Did you and Rob Lawrence have fun without me after I left that morning?”
I’m pretty sure Devlin’s face pales as he lets go of my chair and takes a step backward.
“What? No!” he exclaims. “I left right after you did.”
“Really? Because I had to wait around awhile for my ride, and you didn’t get off his bus before I left.”
“You must’ve missed me,” he says. “Whatever. See ya, Jetta,” he adds before he hurries back to his group, making me wonder what did happen on the tour bus after I left. I know Rob was hoping for more with Devlin, but Dev shot him down. Did he change his mind by morning?
And god, why does the thought of Devlin and Rob together make me so wet? My traitorous body shouldn’t have that kind of reaction for the asshole who beats up and steals from my brother.
I really need to get out and date more.
Chapter Twelve
Devlin
“That lifeguard you were talking to is hot as fuck,” Silas says when I flop back down into my lounge chair, making me want to knock all of his teeth out.
“Dev fucked her at the concert a few weeks back,” Fiasco informs Silas and Wirth, who also wanted to spend a rare day off by the pool. Wirth is a full-time auto mechanic; and, for all I know, Silas could be a lion tamer or a snake wrangler in his free time. The dude is strange as hell. But back to the topic at hand…
“And I’m going to fuck Jetta again in the near future, so don’t even think about it,” I warn the guys.
“Really?” Fiasco asks. “She sounded pretty pissed at you that day at James’ house.”
Of course that gets strait-laced Wirth’s attention, causing him to sit up in his lounge chair and peel off his sunglasses. “James as in one of the Aces biggest debtors, Sean James?” he asks.
“Yep, that’s the one,” Fiasco tells him before I can stop him.
“How does the lifeguard know James?” Wirth asks.
“He’s her sister,” Fiasco replies, causing us all to turn to stare at him.
“What he meant is that Jetta is Sean’s sister,” I explain. “I didn’t know that when I fucked her. I didn’t even know her name until the second time we fucked.”
“Malcolm’s going to be pissed if you’re going easy on James because you want his sister,” Wirth warns.
“I’m not going easy on him!” I exclaim.
“Yeah, Dev told James this morning he has a week to get us half of what he owes.”
“I smell trouble,” Silas says he trades a look with Wirth who adds, “Me too. Women are nothing but trouble.”
“Best not to catch any feelings,” Silas tells me. “That’s why I don’t even look at a woman’s face when I’m inside them. Just fill them up and get out of there.”
“That’s…incredibly fucked up,” I tell him. I knew the dude was colder than an iceberg but Jesus.
I didn’t convince my boys to come with me to a waterpark so I can see a girl because I’ve caught feelings, did I?
No. That’s insane.
I had fun fucking Jetta and just want us to do it again – like a million more times and in my bed, without a creepy ass rock star participating or watching.
Jetta
“Why did you tell Devlin where I worked if you didn’t want me to see him again?” I ask my brother that night when I get home.
“He likes you,” Sean says. “The least you can do is screw him a few times, so he’ll lay off of me.”
“I am not going to go out with a guy to help you pay off your debt!” I tell him, not even touching the trading sex for money part of his statement.
“You don’t understand, Jetta. These guys are dangerous.”
“No kidding,” I mutter. “They really know how to clear out the waterpark.”
“Dev didn’t show up alone?” Sean asks.
“Ah, no, he came with three
