loose while we are trying to escape, I will personally beat the shit out of you and make you pay me triple the price Jerome is paying to orchestrate this whole thing. And believe me, that's a lot of auras."

"Wouldn't want that," he replied with a chuckle and I narrowed my eyes, waiting to make sure he didn't wink again. Goddamn crazy Incubus.

Instead of winking, Sin lunged at me, gripping my face between his hands and kissing me hard in front of the entire group.

Ethan let out a furious growl and I jerked back a second before he collided with Sin and the two of them went crashing to the floor.

Ethan landed on top, straddling the Incubus and throwing furious fists with abandon as Sin howled with laughter beneath him.

"It's okay, kitten, there's plenty of me to go around. I promise to put something in your ass again later," Sin said loudly before Ethan locked his hands around his throat and started choking him out.

"For the love of the moon," I growled as Sin tried to talk around his crushed windpipe and Ethan looked inclined to actually murder him.

I stalked forward and threw my weight into Ethan's side, knocking him off of Sin before pouncing on top of him and snarling down at him.

"Do you have an issue you want to share with the group, stronzo?" I demanded loudly, glaring down at him as he bared his teeth, looking half tempted to lunge at me next.

Sonny, Brett and Esme began whooping and howling with excitement at the sight of me pinning the Lunar gang leader to the carpet and his gaze flicked their way as he seemed to realise that he was on the brink of revealing his bond to me in front of the whole group.

I tilted my head as I regarded him and I could practically see the cogs in his mind spinning as he tried to decide if his secret was worth more than his pride. He was an Alpha Wolf, seeing another Fae touch his mate would be enough to send any Alpha into a tailspin, all of his instincts were probably screaming at him to drag me back to his cave and screw me until I forgot anyone else even existed - right after killing Sin of course. And I found that I actually wanted him to follow those instincts. I mean, he wasn't going to kill Sin, but if he stood up now and told everyone that I was his and he was mine, I was pretty sure I would agree with him. And I didn't like the ache in my chest that said I wanted that so much because I knew it meant he had some power over me. Or at least over the way I felt.

"Forget it," Ethan grunted, moving to sit up and pushing me back.

I stood, locking my jaw and taking half a second to let the pain of those words twist through me, my eyes prickling for the briefest of seconds before I slapped a cherry pie grin on my face and turned my back on the stronzo.

"Anybody else need to get anything off of their chests?" I demanded just as I caught Roary's gaze.

His golden eyes were full of fury and he stepped towards Ethan, swinging at him so fast that I barely even saw the blow coming.

Ethan’s head snapped aside as he took the heavy punch to the jaw and he made a move to lunge at Roary next but I inserted myself between them.

"Enough!" I demanded in my Alpha tone, shoving them both back and growling myself as I waited to see if they were going to fall into line or not. "I can end this easily if I have to."

For a second I thought a brawl was going to break out in full force and Sin started chanting, "Fight, fight, fight," beneath his breath. But as I turned my glare on Ethan, he huffed out a breath, seeming to realise I was about three seconds away from telling the room at large that we were mated and he turned and stalked away, his posture filled with fury.

“Don’t leave,” I called after him. “I haven’t finished going over the plan.”

Ethan growled but stopped his retreat and turned to look back at me, anger filling his eyes as he leaned against a bookshelf and folded his arms.

“Okay,” I began, hopping back up to sit on the desk and acting like there hadn’t been any interruptions as Sin
