snarl.

“You’re dead,” I hissed. “You think you can just stab the leader of the Lunar Brotherhood and get away with it? You should have cut deeper, Wilder, because I’m still alive and that means your death is written.”

“Calm down, Lassie,” he said, smirking as he used his tongue to roll the lolly from side to side in his mouth. “It’s not like I pushed little Timmy down a well.”

“What the fuck are you on about?” I snapped, snatching up my boxers again but Sin lunged forward, grabbing them from my hands and stuffing them inside his jumpsuit.

“You fucking-”

He spoke over me, “I didn’t try to kill you. I just needed to get us down here so we can help Rosalie.”

I ground my teeth, waiting for him to expand on that, but he just turned and strode over to a medicine cabinet and swiped a key card over a panel beside it, making the cabinet spring open.

“Where’d you get that?” I gasped.

“I stole it off of Brenda. She’ll just think she left it here.” He tossed the card onto the counter then knelt down and started rummaging through the cupboard like he had all the time in the world.

I glanced at the door anxiously then moved across the room to help him. “What are you looking for?”

Sin opened a little linen bag and took out a Nevercot Plum, the bright purple skin shimmering a little in the light. He looked up at me with a serious expression on his face. “You need to put this up your butt.”

My jaw went slack and anger pulsed through me. “That’s why you brought me here?” I snarled as he stood up, locked the cupboard and started tossing the plum up and down in his hand.

He threw it higher, bouncing it off his elbow and catching it again. “Yup. Want a hand, kitten? Turn around.”

“No,” I hissed furiously. “Rosalie didn’t even give a damn about me getting her that crystal. Why the fuck would I bring her anything else?”

“What do you think all these items are for, sugar?” he purred, arching a brow. “The escape of course. She needs the ingredients to neutralise the Order Suppressant tank.”

My lips parted and my heart pounded harder. Fuck, she really did need this.

“Then you do it,” I insisted. “I’m hardly needed here.”

“I can’t, kitten, they always strip search me.”

“Bullshit,” I snapped, getting up in his face as I sucked furiously on my lolly. “You didn’t get searched when we left the Fate Room and I’ve been watching you since. They don’t strip search you any more than they do me.”

He chuckled low in his throat. “Busted.”

The lock clicked open on the door and Sin snatched my boxers from his jumpsuit, wrapped the plum up in them and shoved them into my hand just as Brenda stepped back into the room.

“I’m so glad you’re okay,” Sin purred, running his thumb over my lips to cover why we were standing here together and I drew away from him, nodding stiffly as I tried to mask my rage.

“Thanks,” I muttered, moving back to my bed.

Brenda hurried over to the counter, fishing up her key card and glancing between us while we acted nonchalant. When Brenda wasn’t watching, Sin made an O with his finger and thumb then shoved his other index finger into it, giving me a pointed look.

I swallowed a growl, pulling my boxers on under the gown and keeping the plum in my fist.

“Any chance of another lollipop, Brenda?” Sin asked, turning to her. “One for the road?” He flicked the stick of the one he’d finished into the trash can and she waggled her finger at him.

“Naughty boy, you’re as cheeky as a whale on vacation,” she chastised. “Just this once.” She turned to her desk, pulling the drawer open and Sin looked to me, furiously thrusting his finger into that O again like I hadn’t understood him the first time. I glared at him, a growl building in my throat.

I really fucking hate Sin Wilder.

I pushed the plum between my cheeks, bending forward a little and working it up my ass because apparently I would put anything in there for Rosalie. Or maybe it was because I wanted to escape more than anything now. Either way, this had better be the last fucking thing that went up there. Or I was going to fucking lose it.

When it was done, I moved with awkward, slow steps to try and get used to the hard flesh of the plum
