Crossroads (Beautiful Biker MC Romance Series) - DD Prince Page 0,135
things narrowed down to available venues I liked. I just needed input from my groom. Laura said she and Dad had told everyone who needed to know that they were invited to come.
I was down to three options: an outdoor wedding at Red Rock. El Dorado the ghost town, or a pink Cadillac and celebrity impersonator officiant at the Las Vegas sign. Having to plan quickly was a little stressful. The choices were endless.
Christian wandered out with no shirt on and rubbing his eyes as it started to get dark and the lights began coming to life on the strip after his three hour nap so I bounced excitedly from the couch and told him about my top three preferences.
“It’s August, jellybean. Don’t think I wanna stand ‘n sweat in a tux in the desert. I mean, the whole of Vegas is the desert, but I’d like us to be in air conditioning or as close to AC as possible if we do get married outside.”
“You’re wearing a tux?” I asked.
He frowned. “Not gettin’ married to the girl of my dreams in a pair of Wranglers, woman.”
I smiled. “Girl of your dreams.” I rolled my eyes.
“Speakin’ of which, we need to get you a pretty dress. And talkin’ of pretty dresses, when we get back to Aberdeen I am taking you out for dinner and want you in the dress you wore for that fuckin’ cop.”
I laughed.
“Laugh now but I’m gonna fuck you in that dress, fuck you so hard you might not walk for a day or two.”
I bit my lip and blushed and then I launched myself at him and kissed him all over his face until he put me on my back and blew a raspberry on my belly, making me squeal.
“Ooh, she’s ticklish. Good to know.”
“Oh nooooo,” I tried to get away. He held me down on the couch and raspberried my belly again until I was pleading for mercy.
He finally let up, looking so mischievous and so happy it felt like my heart would burst.
“Where’s my broody biker gone?” I asked, stroking his cheek and looking into his eyes with wonder.
“No fuckin’ clue,” he told me.
“Whether he stays gone or comes back occasionally, I am so fucking happy, Christian.”
“Good,” he said and put his lips to my mouth. “Serious, though. Want you in a pretty dress. Flowers in your hair.”
“Your wish is my command. I found a dress shop that will do on-the-spot alterations. And they’re open 24/7. Maybe I can go there soon. Jenna will be here Friday and she’ll do my hair.”
“Go tonight if you want.”
“I want. But you can’t come in. You can’t see my dress until Daddy walks me to you.”
“No problem. Drop me off at a casino and text me when you’re done. Anyway, I like the ghost town idea but really like the Vegas sign ‘n pink caddy thing. Then we do it quick and go out for a nice meal with the family before I bring you back here and peel you outta your pretty wedding dress.”
“Perfection,” I said and kissed him. “We’ve got about half a dozen family members from Dad’s side in Colorado that can make it too. The group is pretty large for how fast we’re putting this together. You should be able to get measured for your tux in the same place I can get my dress.”
“Good. Let’s go buy you a dress ‘n rent me a tux and then get some food.”
I bit my lip. “How tall are you?”
“Six-eight.”
“Hopefully we’re not going to have a problem with that tux rental. Eek.”

We were lying in bed in our hotel room naked. He was playing with my hair. It was late. He’d gotten measured for his tuxedo rental and it apparently would be no problem fitting him. I had my dressed picked, too, and it was going to be ready to pick up Friday night with all the other gear I chose to go along with it. We then got cheeseburgers and since I couldn’t get into a casino, we just walked the strip for a bit before heading back to our hotel.
“Got a little problem, princess,” he told me, twirling a curl of my hair.
“What’s that?”
“When I was a kid, I thought my Gram’s rings were the most beautiful things in the world. Looked at ‘em at Ma’s and wasn’t sure. Put ‘em aside until today and don’t think they’re flashy enough.”
