Wreck Me Forever - Lila Rose Page 0,54
soon as I spoke, Wade chuckled. It was when he quickly sobered, I removed my hand to see his tight grip on the wheel.
“What?” I asked.
“Nothin,” he replied, his voice a little tight.
“Wade, tell me.”
He glanced at me then back at the road just before he slowed and pulled up out the front of Zion’s house. “I just don’t like the thought of you being with anyone.”
Oh, wow. He was jealous.
I wasn’t sure if I could do it, but I sucked up my nerves and reached out with a shaky hand to place it on his thigh. “I’ve had one experience, and it wasn’t the best.” He went to open his mouth, but I got there first with “You’re older. I know you’ve been with many women, and numbers don’t matter to me because I know you’re here with me, and that’s all that matters.”
His jaw clenched as he flung his door open and got out.
Had I said something wrong?
Chapter Sixteen
Wreck
Fuck me. Fuck me. My chest felt thick, like my heart had swelled so damn big. I took a gulp of cool night air and rubbed a hand over my face.
I know you’re here with me, and that’s all that matters.
His words were the most perfect thing I’d ever heard. It meant he didn’t give a shit about my past and the number of women I’d fucked. He wasn’t scared I was playing him, and those words proved it. He knew I was where I wanted to be.
Walking around the car, I opened his door, leaned in, and undid his seat belt.
“Did I say something wrong?” he asked quietly.
“No,” I clipped. I shifted back, and Lucas got out of the car. When he was out of the way, I slammed the door closed and locked it. I grabbed the keys and his bag out of Lucas’s hand and then stalked up to the front door. I knew I was being weird, cold even, but I just needed to get him inside with the door closed and locked behind us.
Unlocking the front door, I pushed it wide, stepped in, dumped his backpack on the ground and waited for Lucas to step through. He did with a frown and drawn brows. He was worried. I didn’t like I’d made him worry, but he would soon know why I was being a dickhead.
Closing the door, I locked it, and faced him. Only he had his back to me and seemed to be looking around the living room while wringing his hands.
Shit, I’d gone and fucked this up. I stepped up to his side, grabbed his wrist gently, and led him down the hall to his bedroom. He followed, and I was surprised, yet grateful, he did. Inside the room, I turned him, cupped his cheeks, and kissed him.
Seconds.
That was all it took for Lucas to melt into me and accept my kiss, give it back, and turn it into more when his mouth opened against mine. I gripped his turtleneck and tugged it up. We broke apart enough for me to pull it from his body, then we were back to kissing. Lucas fumbled with my vest, and then it slid down my arms. The frantic kissing stopped. I took the vest and placed it on the office chair in his room. Turning back to him, I gripped my long-sleeved top and dragged it off my body, throwing it to the floor.
I then took in Lucas. His chest rose and fell rapidly. His pale skin outshone the backdrop of his bedroom, and I wanted to taste every inch. He wasn’t bulky like I was. He was slim but firm. Shit, the six-pack surprised me.
His cheeks heated under my gaze, and I watched as his eyes darted over my upper body. He went to cross his arms over his chest, and I wondered if he felt inadequate next to my larger, broader frame. I didn’t want him to because, to me, he was fuckin’ perfect.
“Don’t,” I ordered. “Don’t hide. Ever. I’ve never got hard for a guy, never thought about a guy, and look at me here in your room, wanting you. You’re fuckin’ stunnin’, Lucas.”
He rolled his eyes.
“Do I need to prove how stunnin’ I think you are?” I stepped closer, my cock throbbing under my jeans. Shit, every time I thought of this guy, I was sporting a semi or instantly hard.
He shrugged.
Good, I’d show him by my actions.
I’d never thought about doing this before to anyone, but I couldn’t wait to
