whisper that made Reed groan.
“I want you too. So bad. It’s all I can think about.”
“You promised to be all my firsts.” Jonah smiled softly as he tucked Reed’s hair back off his forehead, “I want to feel you inside me, filling me up, joining our bodies together.”
“Jesus.” Reed’s heart gave a kick of anticipation, “Where did you learn to talk like that?”
“I learned from the best.” Jonah’s smile all but twinkled, “You.”
“Jo-“ He shook his head, “I don’t want to mess this up.”
“You won’t.”
“I might.”
“You won’t.”
“What if you hate me after? What if I hurt you?”
“Reed.” Jonah forced his head back so they could look directly into each other’s eyes, “Nobody has ever taken care of me the way you do. You make me feel safe and accepted and wanted and cherished. You won’t hurt me. I trust you and I’m asking you to make love to me.”
Reed stared down into those dark, thoughtful eyes that he loved so much. He didn’t see any hesitation. There was no doubt lurking on Jonah’s handsome face. He meant what he was saying, every word. He wanted this and nothing Reed could do or say was going to talk him out of it.
And he didn’t want to.
He wanted Jonah more than he’d ever wanted anyone. He wanted them to be together in every way. He wanted to wrap himself around Jonah’s body the same way that the man had wrapped himself around Reed’s heart. He wanted to bind them to each other in the most raw, sensual, intimate way that he could imagine.
No man could have resisted Jonah’s eager plea, especially not a man that was as head over heels for him as Reed was.
He loved Jonah. All of the texting and late night phone calls, all the ways they’d given each other pleasure before falling asleep in each other’s arms, all the covert looks on campus and the stolen moments alone, it had all led to this moment. He was in love with Jonah and Jonah wanted this. Jonah wanted him. And Reed would always try to give him anything he wanted.
He swallowed hard, “Tell me again.”
“I want you, Reed.”
“The other thing.” Reed smirked, rubbing their lips together softly.
“Oh…” Jonah grinned, wrapping his arms around Reed’s neck, “I love you, Reed.”
Reed’s heart seemed to swell in his chest and he took Jonah’s mouth in a sweet, lingering kiss. He loved this man and everything about him. The way his full lips felt beneath Reed’s. He loved the sweet taste of him and the velvety softness of his tongue as it slipped and slid against his own. He loved that despite his intent to keep the kiss gentle and patient that Jonah wrapped his arms around him and tugged him closer, grinding their bodies together and making them both moan as they grappled to get closer.
Only when Jonah’s deft, skilled hands began to unbutton his jeans did Reed end the kiss and pull away.
“Not here.” He smirked when Jonah moaned. “You wanted me to take you to bed so, let’s go to bed, baby.”
Jonah licked his lips and Reed almost forgot what this was all supposed to be leading towards. He almost went back to kissing him right then and there and said to hell with it. He almost dropped to his knees and sucked Jonah off until his knees went weak and they collapsed in a puddle together on the floor.
But they’d already done that.
Over the past month together, he’d taught Jonah so many things. Jonah had been an avid and incredible student. They’d gone through hand-jobs and blow-jobs, frottage and fingering. They’d played with toys and got each other off so many times that he’d lost count. But tonight he was going to make love to the man he loved, and nothing was going to distract him from that.
He took Jonah’s hand, loving the way their fingers twined automatically. He pulled slightly and Jonah followed him towards the bedroom that Reed had begun to consider theirs. He’d spent more time here in the last month than he had in his garage apartment. He wasn’t sure when it had happened but he’d begun to consider this place, here, with Jonah, his home.
Jonah followed him into the room and Reed turned to stop the cat with his foot. He shut the door in the cat’s face. When he turned back around, Jonah was smirking.
“Don’t want an audience?”
Reed snorted, “Not tonight.”
“Me either.” He bit his bottom lip and Reed leaned against the closed
