Nope, she wasn’t going to accept defeat. Something had happened and she was going to get to the bottom of it with Estelle. But she was going to fight with her bare hands, if she had to, and those three men could go screw themselves over their unnecessary and honestly excessive good looks. No single person needed to look the way they did, with their structured jawlines dusted in moonlight and stubble. Eyes that could make fangirls out of nuns. Bodies that… that could make any woman’s vagina pulse.

Well, not her. She was made of sterner stuff. Still, she hated that they continued to grin at her like she was some sort of conundrum they didn’t know what to do with just yet.

But her battle armor was a little too sparse at the moment. She closed her eyes in pure frustration. While other twenty-four-year-olds were out partying the weekend away, she worked until late, then, under the cover of a moonlight sky, snuck into the property next door through the back door in the garden, in only a two-piece bikini and flimsy robe. “You should leave the same way you came in,” dark haired guy said softly, glancing at her sopping wet robe. Her blood heated at the amusement at her expense, and she decided she wouldn’t stoop so low and beg for a towel. They could go to hell. She turned to green eyes.

“I want my bikini back,” she snapped.

“What bikini?” he asked instead, grinning, rubbing his chin as he had the audacity to slip her panties into his jeans pocket while never taking his eyes off her. Blood sped to her cheeks at the thought of her panties nestled so intimately close to this body.
