Taming Coyote - E.C. Land Page 0,35
Tinsley over to my truck. The weather is too cold to have her on the back of my bike this morning. I need to get her the proper gear for riding behind me. Last night was the first time I’d ever had anyone riding bitch and fuck if I don’t want to do it more often.
“Have they said where they’re at now?” I ask after taking my seat in church. After getting to the clubhouse, Momma B was in the main room with Cody. Grabbing him, I thanked her with a kiss to the cheek. I’d taken him and Tinsley to my room to get them situated before heading to church.
“Yeah, they’re a little over an hour away from here,” Nerd says from where he’s sitting with his laptop in front of him. Probably tracking Neo’s truck. All of our vehicles have the device in them so if anything happens, we’d be able to find them or at least the vehicle.
“What are we going to do?” Shadow asks.
“Do what we had originally planned, except we tweak it some,” Tracker announces.
“Exactly, we’re going to take them out; however, they’re coming to our backyard. I’m betting they probably know by now that Tinsley isn’t at her apartment anymore and that she’s here. These guys haven’t gotten away with what they have for so long by being stupid. So, I’m sure with us allowing her to leave the clubhouse they’ve probably spotted her and found this information.” Everyone around me including myself nod in agreement.
The Demon Raiders are not stupid. It’s why when Tinsley went off with either the women or with me, we had someone following behind to make sure nothing goes sideways. They are sneaky pieces of shit, like vermin they will pop-up when you least expect it.
“Coyote, I’ve called Grigory. He’s on his way but will probably be running late considering he’s dealing with a situation of his own. Seems someone wants a little piece of the pie and went after one of the businesses he owns to send a message,” Twister says. They had come in to help with our plans for today and now that those plans have changed, they’ll stick around here until it’s over with.
“I hope whoever it is doesn’t try to come after Tinsley in an effort to send their message,” I grind out, my hands clenching into fists at the thought. She’s been through more than her fair share of bullshit, she doesn’t need anymore.
“Don’t worry, he said he knows who it is and intends to get it dealt with. Said to tell you to make sure you make them bleed. I for one want to see the claws in action,” Twister grins as he announces the last part.
“If it all goes according to plan, I’m sure you will,” I state, more than ready to let the predator out of its cage. Tinsley may have tamed me somewhat, but when the beast is let out it’ll do what it needs to do in order to protect what is his. I’m sure people would think it’s weird to talk about myself like this, but I guess you can put it down to having alter personas. One being far more dangerous than the other.
“Alright then, let’s get everything in place. I don’t want them making it past the road to the clubhouse. This ends to-fuckin’-day. Got it?” Stoney growls.
Several of my brothers yell out while the others nod their heads. Me, I merely clear my head and let myself prepare to do what needs to be done.
“These fuckers are idiots,” Shadow mutters from next to me.
Neo had just texted us to let us know the dickheads had just turn onto the main road and were heading in our direction. They still had to turn down the path to get to us, but we had taken our stations to keep that from happening.
“That they are, brother.” For bringing the war to us it’s stupid on their part. If it were me, I’d have reached out and figured out what I was dealing with before making my move.
The sounds of vehicles coming down the road has me straightening and my hands itching to put on the claws. I gotta wait for that part. Right now, it’s about getting pieces of shits out of the vehicles.
As the vehicles came into view, I lifted my gun, aimed at the tires, and pulled the trigger just as my brothers had done, popping all of the tires.
The cars come to a halt
