Stroke It - Brooke Page Page 0,37

a white t-shirt on, no bra or panties, and begged me to fuck you.”

She gasped. “You’re an asshole!”

“You’ve said that,” I sighed, standing and beginning to pace.

“Jet, I’m serious. Please, don’t tell anyone. It was a mistake.”

“So you obviously regret it,” I said coldly. “Way to tell another lie.” My chest tightened, and I didn’t even understand why she regretting sleeping with me gave me any sort of effect. I fucked girls at random all the time. Why did it sting having Regan dismiss me so easily?

“It’s not that simple. Just, please, promise me, you won’t say anything to anyone else. It could be… really bad for me.”

“I’d hate to kill your image,” I bit. “Thank God we only had to sing together once, because I don’t think I could fake being able to stand on the same stage as you again.”

The phone muffled, and her voice came back, a softness to it. “Look, I’m sorry, I just… please, Jet. I mean it. I’ll never bother you again, please, don’t say anything,” she begged, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d say she were frightened.

“I don’t squawk to the press, or to anyone, about who I fuck,” I said coldly.

“My boyfriend… he’d get really upset and…”

My jaw clenched. Why did hearing that she had a boyfriend make my blood boil? Of course she’d have a guy on her arm, they all did. “Secret’s safe with me. Don’t bother calling me again.”

I hung up, tossing my phone against one of the throw pillows. “What a bitch,” I mumbled, plopping back down on the couch.

Rocket turned another page in his book. “My bad, I didn’t think she’d freak out like that, or that she’d be able hear me.”

“Don’t worry about it, I’m just glad our show with her is done,” I sighed. Rocket glanced at me over the hardcover, his lips tightening.

“What?”

Closing his book, he sat up on the opposite couch. “You didn’t catch any of the reviews from last night, did you?”

I shrugged. “Besides hearing all of the photographers and press junkies outside of MTV, and the hosts interview questions. I assumed it was positive.”

“Explosive, I believe was the exact word.”

I threw my hands in the air. “So?”

“So… Sebastian is going to feed off of this.”

I scowled.”The fuck he is. I’m not agreeing to more shows with her.”

“Does Sebastian know that?” Rocket asked.

I tapped my knees with my fingers. “He knows I don’t like her.”

Which was a total. Fucking. Lie.

I couldn’t stop thinking about how perfect her petite body aligned with mine, tangled in her sheets together. Her lips were so plump and juicy, I couldn’t stop thinking about what they’d look like wrapped around my cock, her big gorgeous eyes staring up at me, begging for me to rub along the back of her throat.

A chill shot through me at the thought.

“Apparently, according to the internet, Sebastian interviewed a reputable sponsor, telling them this was just the beginning of the angel and the bad boy.”

My eyes damn near bugged out of my head. “I’m calling Seb,” I said in a rush, reaching for my phone and dialing his number. He rode on a separate bus, or flew depending on where we were headed.

“Jet, what’s going on-”

“Tell me we aren’t doing more shows with her,” I interrupted.

Seb subtly sighed. “We have to.”

I flew to my feet, pacing the small living area of the tour bus. “No, no, no, we don’t. We don’t need some pop princess to barge in on our act!”

“You only have to sing and do rehearsals with her, nothing more. I’ve worked it out with her management.”

“I don’t give a flying fuck who you worked it out with, you didn’t get an okay from me or any of the other guys!”

“Jet, this isn’t up for discussion,” he said sternly.

“No, it’s not, because it’s not happening. We left our label because we were sick of being told what to do. Don’t make me fire you.”

Chase emerged from the bunks, scratching the back of his neck and stretching his arms. “What’s got him so fired up?”

“Raina,” Rocket said passively. Chase frowned, cocking his head to the side. “You finally did it, didn’t you?”

“Put Chase on the phone,” Sebastian ordered.

“You can call him yourself!” I shouted, hanging up on him and throwing my phone clear across the tiny space, hitting the wall so hard I wouldn’t have been surprised if the screen cracked.

“Why the hell are you letting that little fine piece of ass get to you?” Chase asked, grabbing
