this pretty. I mean, I’ve been to the beach in Texas, but it looked nothing like this.”
No, it certainly didn’t.
“Where are we staying?”
I smiled as I continued to drive to the resort. “It’s a surprise. But just as soon as we get checked in, you can text Ethan and let him know our room number, hotel name, and everything else. I promise, I have no devious intentions with you while we’re here.”
“Really? Damn. I was hoping we could have a repeat of Friday night. We haven’t since.”
I held my breath because I didn’t want to say the wrong thing.
“I’d love nothing more than to repeat Friday night with you. But I meant it when I said that sex wasn’t a requirement for us to be together. Some men don’t like penetration. Some don’t like any type of stimulation in that area.”
“Yeah, but we both know I do. And I’m feeling really good. I want to be with you again.” Dax reached over and placed his hand on my forearm.
“You only have to initiate things, Dax. It goes both ways, okay. If you want something—or don’t for that matter—just say so. I know I tend to be…pushy and overbearing. It’s something I’ll work on.”
Dax snorted beside me. “No way. We’re staying here? I’ve seen commercials for this place.”
I smiled as I pulled into the breezeway. “Yes, we’re staying here. They have a great all-inclusive vacation package. Come on, grab your bags,” I told him as I put the Jeep in park and climbed out. There was no top or doors on the thing, so getting in and out was easy enough. I handed the fob to the valet and told him we were just checking in. I gave him my name, and he gave me a ticket for the Jeep. Dax was standing at the entrance, looking exactly like he was overwhelmed, which I was positive he was.
“You ready?”
“As I’ll ever be.”
We entered the lobby, and I quickly realized that traveling with Dax was going to give me a lot of pleasure. Everything was an experience to him, and I knew I wanted to give him all of the experiences.
We checked in, I handed Dax his own key card, and then we went off to find our room. I was looking forward to this trip more than my last, simply because I had someone to enjoy things with. We found our room, and while I slowly walked in, Dax rushed across it, dropping his bags at the foot of the bed on his way to the balcony.
“No way. We have a table on the balcony? Can we eat here?” Dax asked as he turned back to me, a hopeful look in his eyes.
“I assumed we’d eat breakfast there in the morning. We can order room service this evening if you want. Or we can go to one of the many restaurants. There are eleven to choose from, and they’re included in the package.” I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his chest, trapping his arms to his sides. Want to go outside and see the view?”
“Eleven? Seriously?”
I chuckled. He’d probably flip when he found out it was unlimited dining too. “You’re stuck on the number of restaurants?”
“Sorry. I like to eat.”
“Don’t apologize. You can visit the restaurants at any time. You just need your card, so don’t lose it.”
Dax shook his head
“Come on, let’s check out the view.”
I kissed the side of Dax’s neck and let go before walking around him and opened the balcony doors, letting the ocean breeze in. I too had seen the ocean in Texas, and it certainly didn’t compare to here. Not much could, really.
Dax walked up beside me and put his hands on the balcony, staring out at the ocean. “I can’t believe how beautiful it is.”
I looked at him. “The scenery is certainly breathtaking.”
“It is. The sand almost looks like snow.”
I smiled and shook my head. “I wasn’t talking about the sand, Dax.” I turned and walked back into our room, leaving Dax on the balcony to enjoy the view. I had to remember that unlike me, he was seeing all of this for the first time. I had spent my entire life traveling and had been to the Bahamas on more than one occasion.
I picked up my bag and opened it, digging through to the bottom to find my toiletry bag. I put the lube and condoms on the nightstand, then took the bag to the bathroom and unpacked. That
