Sixteen Weeks Later - Taylor Rylan Page 0,4

I simply didn’t have enough energy to care. My entire body was a limp noodle, and I couldn’t move.

I heard chuckling and panting in my ear as Anderson’s body covered mine. “You were absolutely perfect. Thank you,” Anderson said before he gave my cheek a soft kiss. Damn, I’d love to have the energy to turn my head and claim a kiss, but I seriously couldn’t move, so I simply grunted and fell asleep.

I woke up later, my ass on fire, and I could hear Anderson’s shallow breathing beside me. Damn. I didn’t mean to fall asleep, but the man had completely worn me out.

As quietly as I could, I crawled out of bed and shuffled to the bathroom where I quickly put on my clothes. When I couldn’t find my shirt, I remembered it was in the bedroom somewhere, and there was no way I was going to go searching for it in the dark, so I pulled on Anderson’s button-down. It smelled like him, and my dick reminded me that he was in the bed asleep. I was positive he’d be up for another round of sex, but there was no way I could go another round right now. After I pulled out my phone and scheduled an Uber, I quickly used the toilet and then crept out of the bathroom. When I made it to the bedroom door without a noise from Anderson, I almost cried in relief. Maybe. Was I making a mistake to leave in the middle of the night?

As quietly as I could, I crept down the stairs, and after making sure the front door was locked behind me, I left the house of the man who had seriously changed the way I’d look at sex from here on out. I already knew I’d never see Anderson again, and that I’d most likely never meet another who could get such a reaction from my body seemingly effortlessly, but that didn’t mean I wouldn’t spend the rest of my life looking. When the Uber pulled up, I climbed into the back seat, gave the driver my address, and stared out the window as we drove through the city streets toward my apartment.

Never before had I met a man who had so perfectly matched me during sex. I was feeling quite good about the fact that I’d completely worn him out and he’d fallen asleep in my bed. I was looking forward to seeing if he was up for another round, the next time with me on the receiving end, but I fell asleep while watching him. When I woke up, he was gone, and I was kicking myself for not getting his last name.

He knew where I lived, and I only hoped he’d enjoyed himself enough to stop by again, but until then, I was at a loss and left with no choice but to hope and wait for him to show back up.

I had a new semester to get through starting this morning, and I always looked forward to seeing new and eager faces on the first day. Usually by the second or third week, my students were cursing me as well as plotting my end, but I enjoyed the challenge. I loved my job as an American History professor, and the students were there because they wanted to be at that point, not because someone told them it was a good idea to go to college. That made all of the difference.

“Hey, Anderson, you ready for this?” Professor Dave Summers asked as he walked into my office with two to-go cups of coffee. He handed me one before he took the seat across from my desk and made himself comfortable. Dave taught American History as well, and the students he had last semester were now mine, so I had the advantage because he’d told me about the students I was about the spend the next sixteen weeks with.

“Ready as I always am. You have a good holiday break?” I asked as I took a sip of the black coffee and moaned. It was my second cup of the day, but I knew I was going to need it by the time my first class was over. We usually talked several times a week, but he’d been especially busy over the holiday break, and I’d gone to Puerto Vallarta for some much-needed downtime.

“Meh, could have been better. Could have been worse.”

I studied my best friend and wondered if we had time to get into
