Rushing In (Bailey Brothers #4) - Claire Kingsley Page 0,67

bad. But I didn’t know if I could. Too many sensations warred for my attention. I couldn’t focus.

Gavin reached up and gently gripped my chin, forcing me to look at him. “Right here.”

“What?”

“Eyes right here while I’m fucking you.” His gaze seemed to reach inside me. “I want to watch you come.”

“But…”

“You feel that?” He thrust his hips up. “You feel my cock inside you?”

I nodded.

“You like that, don’t you?” He thrust again.

“Yes.”

“That’s what I thought.” He groaned again when I lifted up and slid back down. “Fuck, you feel so good. That’s all there is right now, Sky. Just this.”

With my eyes locked on his, I kept going, focusing on nothing but the way he felt inside me. On his gaze holding me captive. On his hands, guiding me up and down. The outside world fell away, my fear disappearing.

“That’s it, Sky,” he growled. “You’re so fucking hot. I’m going to come in you so hard.”

I whimpered, riding him faster again, my climax building. The slow waves of pleasure became sharp bursts, each one bringing me closer to the peak.

Gavin grunted with his thrusts, still holding eye contact, that brow furrow sexy beyond measure. His forehead glistened with sweat and his jaw hitched.

“Fuck yes, Sky. That’s it, baby.”

A little shift of my hips drew him deeper and I threw my head back. In an instant, I was coming—spiraling out of control. I burst apart, waves crashing through me, leaving me breathless.

His cock throbbed inside me and he grunted hard. My orgasm wasn’t finished, his reigniting mine. I cried out as the hot pulses of his cock exploded through me. My thighs clenched and my inner muscles squeezed.

Finally, we both stopped and I slumped forward, still bracing myself against the seat. He leaned his head back, his breath as labored as mine.

“Holy shit,” he muttered.

Glancing around, reality started to come back to me. “Oh wow. I should get dressed.”

I peeled myself off him and awkwardly rolled onto the passenger seat. With a dimpled grin, he handed me my pants. While I put myself back together, he discreetly removed the condom, tugged his jeans back up, and fastened them.

He ran his fingers through his hair, making it adorably messy. “Well that was… not what I was expecting tonight.”

“Me neither.”

And it was true, I hadn’t been expecting it. Hoping, though. That was another matter.

I’d definitely been hoping.

He reached over and traced his thumb along my jaw. “Should we get out of here?”

“Yeah, we should.”

He gazed at me for a second, and I wondered what he was thinking. But he just nudged my chin with his thumb and started the truck.

I let out a long breath, wondering who the heck I was, and what had happened to Skylar Stanley.

Gavin

I parked on the street outside Skylar’s house and walked up the path, past Chief’s truck. Anticipation buzzed in my veins. She’d texted earlier to see if I’d come over for a writing session.

At least, that was what she said.

In reality, it probably wasn’t code for a booty call. I’d been coming over to hang out with her while she wrote for the last week and a half or so. Whenever she asked me to come over so she could write, that was literally what she meant.

But that was before last night at the drive-in.

Still, I wasn’t here expecting her to answer the door in her underwear or anything.

Especially because it looked like both her parents were home.

I hesitated before knocking. Things had seemed fine between us last night. The sex had been… well, it had been fucking amazing, there was no doubt about that. We’d both been amped with adrenaline after the drive-in. Adrenaline and a healthy dose of pent-up lust. Had it been a one-and-done, just a crazy thing we’d both needed to get out of our systems?

I wasn’t sure.

Today I felt weirdly uncertain, a sense of unease tickling the back of my neck. I didn’t have regrets, exactly. But last night probably shouldn’t have happened. In fact, the last two nights probably shouldn’t have happened. Yet, here I was, standing on her doorstep again.

I blew out a breath and knocked.

Chief answered the door and I had no idea why that surprised me so much—he lived here—but I almost jumped backward.

“Hey, Chief,” I said quickly.

“Gav.” He narrowed his eyes slightly and I swear to god, he knew.

Did he know?

Shit.

Don’t look guilty.

How did a guy not look guilty? That wasn’t an act I’d mastered. I’d never cared if I looked guilty before.

Shit. Again.

“Is that
