Ruler (Wolves of Royal Paynes #2) - Kiki Burrelli Page 0,42
my body was nestled between his legs brought no fear. I couldn't be afraid when something magical was clearly about to happen. Faust's growls took on an animalistic quality, raw and untamed.
His movements grew more pointed, and I sat up a little straighter, sensing something was about to happen.
I wasn't wrong. The first of Faust's cum splashed against my cheek, then my neck. He continued down my body, letting each jolt of liquid pleasure coat my skin. He shook himself, making sure every last drop had found its way onto my body before he slid to his knees in front of me, pulling me into his lap as he rubbed his cum into my skin like lotion. He buried his nose behind my ear and sniffed. His breaths came slowly, each rumbling inhale clearly expressing how pleased Faust was in that moment.
I'd pleased him. Me and my mouth. I'd done it on my own terms without feeling afraid or overwhelmed, and more than that, I couldn't wait to try it all again. Maybe next time, he'd let me have a bigger taste. I'd gotten his flavor on my tongue, but the majority now dried on my skin.
"Storri," Faust breathed, holding me close. "You're amazing. You're perfect, my sweet prince." He crooned as he lifted me and then spent the walk to the bathroom peppering my skin with his kisses.
I couldn't believe that I was perfect, but what had happened between us was, and that was all that mattered.
Chapter Eight
Faust
I measured my steps down the hallway, searching for Storri by his scent. I could've called out his name, but I wouldn't waste an opportunity to inhale our new combined scent that lingered on his skin.
My dick hardened, remembering Storri on his knees the night before, looking at me through his lashes as I covered him with my seed. The moment had been perfect, and I'd sported a steel rod in my pants every hour since. I'd managed to talk the persistent fucker down so I could go into the post office without causing a panic, and now I'd been away from Storri for almost an hour. Though I knew Dog was with him, keeping him safe, I needed Storri back in my arms.
I passed Knox and Angus in the hallway. The latter slept in the crook of Knox's arm. "Looking for Storri?" he guessed.
"Yeah. His package came. Just came back from picking it up. Have you heard from the twins?" I walked slower as I spoke but still continued in Storri's direction.
Knox nodded. "They're maintaining radio silence but have been checking in on time. Won't know what they've seen until they get back."
Checking in while in the field was a silent activity. While on a reconnaissance mission, we couldn't risk any of our transmissions being picked up. Especially with a target like Portal.
We knew all the seemingly unrelated events in our lives were connected—Portal, the hellfire that destroyed our pack, the strange magic-like moments we'd witnessed since then—but we didn't know how. "Good. I want to figure out why Portal is after nephilim sooner rather than later."
That had always been important. Portal had already come after Jazz in the form of his father. But while it felt like Jazz was safe for the time being, Storri still seemed in danger. My wariness could have nothing to do with anything but how important he was to me and how much I couldn't lose him, but it felt like more than that. Occasionally, when I looked at Storri, it was as if I could see the crosshairs someone had set on him.
And I wouldn't be able to relax until that person was taken out of the equation.
"When the twins return, we'll build our plan. No one is going anywhere half-cocked. I won't risk losing another of us. Not again."
Pierce had been the sixth member in our alpha mercenary team. He'd been older than the rest of us and had naturally fallen into the leader position, though when we were on pack lands, we'd led as Alphas equally. Taking dangerous, morally ambiguous jobs for huge amounts of money had been Pierce's idea, and we'd successfully supported our sprawling pack that way for years. Until the pack and Pierce had been taken out in two, seemingly unrelated hellfire explosions.
Nephilim, angels, hellfire, heaven. The natural progression of words pointed to one answer, but before we started talking biblical, cosmic, and eternal damnation, we needed to have all the information. If something like demons existed, we would've
