Riding the Line (Devil's Knights 2nd Generation #2) - Winter Travers Page 0,34

Demon shouted Paige’s name again.

I looked up at Frost. “I…I don’t even know what to say.”

Frost smiled down at me. “You’ll get used to the chaos. Things were pretty boring without the whole club being around. You’re in for a real treat now.”

I gulped and wondered if it was too late to run for the hills.

It seemed within the matter of fifteen minutes, I was going to teach Frost’s mom how to pole dance, and while I was at it, teach the whole town.

“I think I need a drink.”

Frost

“Today is three days, Frost. Why haven’t we heard anything yet?”

I scrubbed my had down my face and yawned. “Probably because it’s only seven-thirty in the morning, Indiana. Pretty sure mobsters and bad guys sleep in.”

She pinched my side and twisted. “But obviously not bikers.”

“Ouch, woman,” I grunted.

Last night, Indiana and I were headed into the clubhouse to leave the emptying of the RV to Cyn and Paige, but we weren’t quick enough to make our escape.

Greta grabbed Indiana and pulled her onto the RV while I worked on getting all of the luggage out from the lower compartments.

How eighteen suitcases managed to fit in and under that RV was a fucking mystery I would never understand. Then it took another hour to sort out whose suitcase belonged to who, which was made even more difficult when Cyn explained that Marley and Meg had the same luggage. The only way to sort them was to open each fucking one.

By the time we fell into bed, we were both so exhausted, and Indiana didn’t put up a fuss when I told her she was sleeping in my bed.

“I dreamed about suitcases,” Indiana whispered. “You and I opened one, and inside was another one. And then another one.” She sighed. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at another suitcase again. I have PTSD.”

I chuckled and pulled her to my side. “You didn’t really get a grace period before all the craziness started, did you?”

She shook her head. “I mean, I was warned and heard so many stories that I thought I knew what was about to happen.”

I smoothed her hair from her face. “Nothing can prepare you enough for what the Devil’s Knights ol’ ladies are.”

She nodded. “I have to say, that is completely accurate. You guys should have a handbook or something.”

“That is not a bad idea, darlin’.”

She sighed and pushed up to press a kiss to my lips.

“Now that’s how we need to start the morning,” I groaned. I pulled her on top of me, and she straddled my hips.

“Are we going to pick up where we left off last night?” she whispered.

I nodded. “The door is locked, and there isn’t a chance in hell anyone in this place is awake yet. You’re all mine, Indiana.”

I didn’t even get the yes out of my mouth before his lips were on me and his hands pulled up the back of my shirt. His fingers made quick work of my bra, and then both my shirt and bra were up and over my head.

“You’re too good at that,” I whispered against his lips.

“Been waiting two fucking years for this moment. I’m not gonna waste a second fumbling with your clothes.”

I appreciated that. I only wished I could have been as smooth as he was. I trailed my hands down between us and found the button on his jeans. I tried to push it through the hole to pop it open, but my fingers couldn’t figure out which way to push or pull.

“This is your fault,” I grumbled.

Frost pressed a kiss to my neck. “My fault?” he laughed.

“Yes,” I grunted. “I can’t concentrate when you’re kissing me.” My fingers fumbled with the button, and I seriously considered finding scissors and just cutting them off him.

“You want me to stop? You’re down there like the damn thing is a Rubik’s cube.”

“You stop, and I’ll knee you in the nuts. I just need to…just…”

“Darlin’, by the time you get my pants undone, I’m gonna come in my pants from you rubbing up against my dick.”

I rolled my eyes. “As if.”

“Remember how it’s been a while since you’ve done this? Same goes for me. I’m a bottle rocket ready to go off any second if you’re not careful.”

My hands froze, and my eyes connected with his. “Maybe you should open your pants.” I was all for Frost coming, but I would like to be a participant in the process. I sat back, and Frost
