to agree," Colt added.
"As fab as it is having family there to keep you feeling important, tonight is about Aiden, Quinn, and Lila," Braeden said, even though his eyes sparkled. "We need to throw them an awesome party. Any ideas?"
The waiter came back with a second round of drinks for Colt and Braeden, and his first, and told them their food should be ready shortly. When it was just them, Braeden said, "So I think the easiest way is to divvy things up; someone in charge of food, invites, and definitely decorations."
"Decorations? Are you sure we need all that?" Jack asked. "Aiden just said he wants something nice done for Quinn."
Colt and Braeden looked between each other, then nodded. "We definitely need decorations." Braeden was the one to reply.
Jack laughed. "Good thing he put all of us together because if it was just me..." He shook his head. Colt and Jack chuckled, but Jack was serious. Now he was glad to have his brothers there with him, and not just because he needed help planning the party.
Their food came while they continued to discuss what needed to be done. Colt was on the invitations, and he would also help Braeden with the decorations.
"I think I can do the food," Jack volunteered before popping a French fry into his mouth.
"And we can’t forget the cake," Braeden supplied. "You and I can work on getting that."
Jack nodded. "I do think this is going to be a pretty big celebration. Plus, next month is Quinn’s birthday, so maybe we can incorporate that into it."
"I think we have everything covered," Colt said before taking a swig of his beer.
"I’ll call tomorrow and see about ordering a cake," Braeden said, and he looked at Jack. "I have a store in mind, but you’ll have to do the leg work while I’m at school."
"No problem," Jack replied. "Anything else we need to figure out?"
Braeden looked between them. "Do we know when we’re having this party? Cause that might be a good place to start."
Jack snickered. "Oh, yeah. That’s probably a good idea." He pulled his phone out of his pocket to shoot a message to Aiden.
Jack: Here with Colt and Braeden. What day works best for you guys to have the party?
"Sent. I’ll let you know when he gets back to me," Jack said. He looked to Colt and found him preoccupied. Jack followed his gaze to see where Colt’s eyes were directed and saw that he was staring at a guy sitting at the bar. "You know him?" Jack asked.
"Something like that," Colt said.
"Is he the guy…" Braeden looked back in the direction Colt’s eyes hadn’t left.
"His brother recommended this spot. Figures he’s here tonight."
"Wanna go over and say hi?" Jack asked.
"Nope. I saw him last at Thanksgiving last year and at our goddaughter’s birthday, and I’ll see him again when Jai has his baby. I swear those two are shooting for a basketball team or something." Colt laughed, but there was something off about it.
"Jai?" Braeden asked, taking the words out of his mouth.
"Nic’s husband. They have three kids already, and Jai is about to have another soon," Colt explained.
"Ahh. You spent Thanksgiving with them?" Jack asked.
He nodded. "Nic invited me over. A couple of them do the holiday together, and since we don’t have anything like it in the UK… Anyway, everyone kind of chips in, although all I did was bring some wine."
"Ahh," Jack said.
"Maybe this year I can host. It’s for family, and I would love to introduce my other family to my new family."
Jack and Braeden grinned before Bray spoke up. "I love Thanksgiving. My papa makes the best pie."
"I’m sure Rafe will want to make something, too," Jack said, referring to Aiden’s papa.
"And Quinn," he and Colt said at the same time.
"Sounds wonderful, although I figure we should get one party planned before we try for another," Bray added dryly
They ate and talked, telling each other stories about their lives. Colt even invited them over to the UK. About thirty minutes later, a text came through on his phone. He looked down at the message.
Aiden: Two weeks from tomorrow?
He read the text out loud before replying
Jack: Sounds good! Thanks!
"More than enough time," Braeden said.
If only Jack could get his love life on track as easily as they had this party.

It was another busy day at the bakery. Eli grabbed the schedule and looked at it. He wasn’t sure who made the error on Saturday, but they double-booked him for
