The Reign Of Kings - Candice Wright Page 0,58

her, me with exasperation, Bates with confusion as if he has genuinely forgotten she was there, which makes me snort.

“Well, that was the plan, but you’re like an STD that just won’t go away,” I tell her with a sigh.

“Bitch—”

Bates cuts her off with a growl. “Stand the fuck down, Tracey.”

“It’s Lexi.” She pouts before wisely walking away.

“Burn.” I chuckle before turning to Bates. “So where are Thing One and Thing Two? I feel like I’ve been abandoned.”

He laughs but moves me around the crowd of people in front of us and points to a couple of sofas in the far corner where, sure enough, both my guys are drinking with the twins I’d met earlier. What were their damn names again?

“Come on.” He maneuvers me through the crowd, which is just as well. It seems there is a height requirement to get in here. Damn, I must have missed the memo.

“What’s with all the damn giants?” I yell when we finally do make it over to the guys.

“It’s not that we’re giants, Trouble, it’s just that you’re—” Saint lifts his hand to wave over my body.

“An adorable, pocket-sized ninja who will cut you if you say the s-word?” I fill in for him.

His shoulders shake with laughter. “Yes, that is exactly what I was going to say. Get your ass over here.”

I do as I’m told, disengaging from Bates’s grip as he snags a nearby chair and sits beside Priest. I move over to Saint, who yanks me down onto his lap, making a point of showing everyone who I belong to.

“Watch the beer,” I warn him before moving around to get comfortable.

He groans right around the time I notice he’s getting hard from all my shuffling.

“Sorry,” I whisper, vowing to be good, but, well, this is me. As he continues talking to one of the McHotty—I need to remember their names—twins, I continue to wiggle under the guise of getting comfortable.

Eventually, he leans over and whispers in my ear, “I’m not a shy guy, Reign, so if you carry on teasing me, I’ll shove these jeans down your shapely legs, slip your panties to one side, and bury myself inside you. Let everyone watch. I don’t care because it will be my dick inside you and my cock you cream all over.”

“Oh my god!” I whisper. The master has just schooled me in the art of teasing because Saint’s dirty words alone are almost enough to make me come. “I’ll be good,” I promise. But that doesn’t mean I won’t spend the rest of the evening replaying his words in my head.

“So, you got family, Reign?” one of the twins asks me, effectively cooling my arousal.

“Erm, yeah, there’s my dad and I have five brothers,” I answer before looking at Priest. I don’t know if they were told everything about me, so I’m unsure what I can say.

When Priest offers me a nod with a wink, I take it as a green light that I’m okay to carry on.

“Five brothers? Damn. And where do you fall in the age scheme?”

“I’m the baby, by four years.”

“Shit, I can’t even imagine what dating was like for you.”

I laugh. “You have no idea.”

“We have a seventeen-year-old niece. Erza and I like to go over to her house when she has date night, just to remind her boyfriend that she has two uncles in an MC.”

I laugh at that. As much as it drove me nuts growing up having crazy overprotective brothers, there was never a shadow of doubt in my mind about how much they loved me.

“Erza.” I click my fingers. That’s one of them. “Remind me of your name again. I can’t keep calling you the McHotty twins,” I tell him with an apologetic shrug.

“Christ, lady, that’s a blow to my ego. I’m Roman, the better-looking one.”

The guys around us laugh, except Erza, who smacks him on the back of the head.

“I don’t think you need anyone else around here to blow your ego, Roman,” I tease. “And as for your poor niece, believe it or not, she’s getting off lightly. I had to deal with five older brothers, who all stand over six feet tall, rocking up wearing scowls and enough firepower to take out an armed convoy. Let’s just say I didn’t end up dating much in high school.” My guys find that hilarious.

Of course, they do. Lord help us if we ever have daughters.

Woah, where the fuck did that thought come from? Jesus, Reign, you need to
