by this point. “You don’t want to know all the places I’d bite you.”
Her breathing is exerted as she lifts her shoulder to her ear, pushing my face away. “Let’s not go there, Madden.”
“Why?” I ask on a growl. “You afraid you’ll like it? It won’t hurt… much.”
Her eyes meet mine, her chest quickly rising and falling. Hell, mine is too. It almost looks like she’s about to move in to kiss me, but instead, she grabs the fork and shoves it into her mouth.
“My meat is good, right?” I grin when her eyes widen.
I expect her to push me or yell at me, but instead, she nods. “Surprisingly, it’s good.” She hands me a plate and tilts her head. “Maybe I like meatloaf after all.”
“I could change your mind about a lot of things you think you don’t like. Just give it time.”
“I’m starting the movie!” Jess yells to us from the couch. “Bring both pans in here and join us.”
“Movie?”
Natalie nods as I help her down to her feet.
Before joining the others, I fill Natalie’s plate with food, wanting to make sure she gets enough, because I know how the guys eat. Which is why I cooked two pans, but it’s still never enough.
I wait until Natalie is done eating before I pull her into my lap and gently bite her neck just to tease her. When she playfully elbows me, I kiss the spot on her neck I just bit. This time, it’s not for show. I did it for me, and that fucks with my head through the entire movie. It’s still on my mind, even now that we’re all back outside drinking again.
“Come on, fucker!” Riley hollers. “We’re about to play a little game of Truth, Dare, or Drink. Get the fuck over here.”
Exhaling, I stand from the picnic table. I was really hoping Riley would forget about this game this year. We’ve been playing it since we were old enough to come to the cabin on our own without Jake’s parents. “I’m coming, dick.”
When I take a seat next to Natalie, Riley is standing between the circle of chairs, deciding on who his first victim will be. He takes entirely too long, causing a few of us to groan before he finally turns to Jake. “Truth, Dare, or Drink, fucker?”
“Should I be nervous?” Natalie whispers.
“If you don’t like to give lap dances, jump through fire, or kiss random people… then yeah.”
She smiles and bumps my shoulder. “The trip is almost over. Might as well live it up a little, right?”
“Right,” I whisper, eyes landing on Alana at the same time she looks my way. “Just know that I never back down from a dare. If they dare me to get down on my knees and lick your inner thigh, I will do it, so don’t kick my ass and give us away.”
She nervously tilts her alcohol back, taking a long drink, followed by a second and third. “It’s too late to back out now, right?”
“Dare.” Jake finally says.
“I dare you to strip down to your boxers and give Jess a lap dance, but you have to do it standing on your hands.”
“What the fuck do you mean on my hands?” Jake stands and begins stripping down to his boxers.
“Stand on your fucking hands and give Jess a lap dance. Do you not understand the words coming from my mouth? On your hands.”
“Dude, I’ve been drinking all day.” He kicks his jeans aside and yanks his shirt over his head. “What makes you think I can stand on my fucking hands?”
“Just do it, baby!” Jess yells in excitement, looking him up and down. “Give me a sexy dance. Make it hot and you might get lucky tonight.”
He shrugs. “Fuck it.” It takes him a few tries to get standing on his hands, but he finally manages to do it, thrusting his hips in Jess’s face. He’s completely off rhythm to the music but keeps thrusting until he eventually falls over, cussing as he hits the ground with a thud.
Everyone laughs and whistles as he gets back to his feet and straddles Jess’s lap, doing his best to move his hips seductively. Dancing has never been Jake’s strongpoint.
“All right. All right. I think we’ve all had enough of watching your ass move out of rhythm,” Walker says on a laugh, standing up. “I’ll go next. Seth. Truth, Dare, or Drink.”
“Truth.”
“Seriously, fucker?”
“Yeah, I need a few more drinks before I do a dare. Especially from you.”
