“I grew up in a bookstore where reading anything and everything was not only allowed but expected. I’ve been reading romance novels since I discovered that not all boys were smelly, and some of them were cute. You’d be amazed at some of the things I want to do.”

“Oh, yes.” I chuckled. “Please amaze me.”

“Just remember that you asked for it,” Eliza said, serious now. She tilted her head and looked right up into my eyes before asking, “What are your thoughts on light bondage?”

“Uh . . .” I couldn’t seem to form a full word, let alone an answer.

“Is that a good uh or a bad uh?”

“Good.”

“You don’t seem too sure. I’ll bring you a book on it. Nothing too kinky, just some beginner stuff. Fuzzy handcuffs, maybe an ankle spreader. We’ll see what you think when you have more information.”

“Um.”

“Maybe it’s too soon.” Eliza shook her head slowly. “We’ll see. It’s not really a must for me. I’ve just always been curious.”

I reached down and put my arms around Eliza, gripping her ass in my hands. I picked her up, and her legs wrapped around my waist. I kissed her hard on the mouth as I walked closer to the wall of the kitchen. I held her there as I trailed kisses down her neck, biting and sucking as I whispered about what I’d do to her when I had her tied to my bed.

I managed to pull my sweats down far enough off one hip that they dropped down to the floor, and I surged into Eliza’s body with a grunt. It was frenzied and fast, but the second I felt Eliza start to come around me, I joined her with a shout.

“Oh.” Eliza panted. “That was unexpected.”

“All the best things are, like telling me you want me to be tied up.”

“If this is how you say yes, then I’m going to be asking lots of questions in the future on the off chance that you agree,” Eliza warned as I carried her into the bathroom.

I reached in to adjust the water as she pulled my shirt over her head and tossed it aside. When the water felt right, I stepped into the shower with our bodies still connected. Eliza wiggled just a bit and bit my neck, and this time when I said yes, I did it with her back against the tiles while water rained down on us.

“Is it too late for us to work on the plants?” I asked Eliza as I watched her comb her hair. She let the wet strands hang over her shoulders and then pulled on another one of my t-shirts, flipping her hair out of the too big neck and letting it fall again. Just like before, I was wearing a pair of sweatpants, shirtless and barefoot.

It was like deja vu, and I felt my cock start to harden again.

“Stop with the horny stuff! Even if you don’t, I need some recovery time!”

“Okay.” I sighed. “How long are we talking here?”

“I think we got them all,” Eliza said as she stepped back from the trellis that I’d built to hold the heavy vines. “Even if we missed some and only half of what we did bears fruit, we’ll still be okay.”

I nodded as I finished one more flower. “How did I not realize this was what was missing?”

“Because most things grow outside and bees and insects do this part.”

“What would I do without you?” I mused.

“You’d have figured it out, but it might have been too late. I think we hit just the right window. If we’re successful, there should be plenty of ripe fruit in time for the holiday.”

“I like you a lot, Eliza. Probably too much at this point. I just wanted you to know where I stood.”

“Well, I think I feel about the same and it scares the living hell out of me.”

“Yep.”

“Let’s table this and talk about it again in a few months. I know - we’ll talk about it while we harvest and not before.”

“It’s a deal.” I laughed. “We’ll wait until we harvest.”
