loud drink straight from the bottle, then he poured two glasses and pushed one toward his husband. “Do you want to talk about Alexander?”
Luca let out a small sigh and glanced over at his husband as he began to chop the peppers. “There’s really not much else to say. He’s obviously suffering…”
“And your bleeding heart wants to help him,” he said with a grin.
Luca rolled his eyes. “I can’t pretend like I’m someone I’m not. But…I don’t know. When he replied this morning, I just got this feeling in my gut like it would be a mistake to ignore it.”
“Your gut rarely steers you wrong,” Sebastion agreed, and Luca turned with a small, impossibly warm smile because there were moments he was reminded how profoundly lucky he was that this man loved him. “He just seems a little lost.”
Luca shook his head as he threw peppers and onions into the pan and gave it a shake. Throwing the lid on the top, he turned on the griddle, then moved over to his tortilla press. “I think it’s more than that.”
Sebastion rested his chin against his curled knuckle and ran the tip of his finger around the rim of his wine glass. “Yes, I know.” He leaned back and took a long drink of his wine, then met Luca’s eyes. “What do you want to do about it?”
“I don’t know,” Luca confessed. “Be there, I guess? It feels a little fucked up to stay on that app, but it’s probably safest considering his boyfriend seems…” He didn’t finish his sentence, but the look in his husband’s eyes told him he didn’t need to.
“Mm,” Sebastion agreed darkly. If Max wasn’t outwardly abusive yet, it seemed to be heading in that direction. The pair of them had seen it enough times, and Sebastion had his own trauma years before he met Luca, and he knew this was probably hitting close to home for him.
“I think a couple of friends with big muscles and extra cash on hand is what he needs right now. He’s probably broke as shit and too busy to keep up a social circle.” Luca turned his attention back to the food and said nothing until he had a plate of steaming tortillas and a pile of filling for the tacos. “You want cabbage?”
“Meat and carbs for me, thanks,” Sebastion said. He abandoned his glass and walked over, pulling Luca away from the stove to press him against the counter. He was only an inch shorter, and about thirty pounds of muscle lighter, but they had always fit together like comfortable pieces of a puzzle. Especially when Sebastion slipped his arms around Luca’s waist and nuzzled their mouths together in a mimic of a kiss. “You’re a good man, Luca.” His husband huffed and tried to pull away, but Sebastion grabbed him by the hair and held him tight. “You are a good man, Luca,” he repeated. His hand moved to his husband’s cheek, and the soft way his thumb caressed his flushed skin sent warmth shooting down his spine. “And I want to eat your ass til you cry.”
Luca gave a sad look over at the tacos. “So, you’re saying to save these for lunch tomorrow?”
“The choice is yours,” Sebastion said, and Luca groaned louder before he shoved the plate of tortillas against the wall where Ivy couldn’t reach, then shoved his hand into Sebastion’s, who grinned. “I also knew you were a smart man.”
Chapter Four
Dear Husband,
I trust you. I don’t think you need me to tell you more than that.
Devotedly yours,
Sebastion
Sebastion loved nothing more than to feel the way Luca writhed under his hands and mouth. He’d been with his fair share of men over the years—both in relationships and hook-ups and even men he and Luca had shared. But no one responded to him the way his husband did. No one could beg with their whole body the way Luca could.
He had never wanted to possess someone as much as he wanted to possess this man, and he could have spent hours feasting on him and making him ruin the sheets with his come if he truly wanted.
“You want me to fuck you now?” Sebastion asked, lifting up and dragging two fingers over Luca’s puffy hole. He’d been eaten, then stretched with a plug, then tormented with a vibrator. He’d come once already and was close again. Sebastion was aching to fill him up.
Luca fisted his hands in the sheets and turned his face which was pink
