Omega in the Sand - Aria Grace Page 0,34
at the monitors as my security team scrambles to follow orders. A moment later, one of the screens is replaced by static. The bottom corner indicates that this is the feed from the security room. I glance up at the camera in the corner and shake my head. This thief is a lot more sophisticated than I realized.
"Get those cameras back online. Call IT if you have to," I order. "Call me if you find any other cameras that aren't working."
I leave the room but it takes all my self-control not to slam the door. To say that I'm pissed off would be an understatement. My security team has been compromised. My camera network has been tampered with. Surveillance footage is missing. My personal email account was hacked. And to top it all off, someone is clearly trying to frame my omega.
I don't even flinch at that thought.
Isaac is mine. And I'm going to bring pain down on anyone who tries to hurt him.

Isaac
"Lucky you, getting out of work because you're banging the boss," I tease as I perch on the edge of my bed. It feels oddly comforting to be wearing actual clothes instead of just my normal "uniform." My PJs may just be a cotton t-shirt and shorts, but they're comfy and, thanks to the AC in our room, they're not too hot.
"It's all about knowing which strings to pull," Anders says with a little grin. He's sitting cross-legged on his bed, texting someone on his phone. We've got the curtain pulled back so we can see each other. "Turns out Warren is pretty lonely, so that makes it easy to get him to do what I want. I've just got to keep him on the hook and I might be able to get through the rest of this job without having to actually do anything."
He looks up at me with a mischievous smile.
"Sounds a little manipulative," I admit as I rub some lotion onto my feet. They've been getting pretty beat up from going barefoot all the time. Thankfully, tomorrow is my first day off and I'm definitely looking forward to it.
"It's not like you haven't benefited from it too," Anders reminds me. "Besides, he's just an alpha. They deserve a little manipulation. It's not like anyone's actually getting hurt."
I don't have a good reply but the guilt is eating me alive. Anders openly talks about how badly he's been manipulating Warren all the time. He hasn't made a secret about it at all. Last night he showed me one of the high-end guest rooms that Warren set aside for him to use. We spent an hour in there, getting drunk off champagne and soaking in the en suite jacuzzi. It was a luxurious experience that Anders said he wanted to share with his only friend on the whole island.
But now, I feel like I'm just as guilty of taking advantage of Warren as he is.
I lean back against the wall and look up at the ceiling with a frown. I was so desperate to make friends with someone that I didn't look to closely at anything Anders said. I went along with all the negative things he spouted about alphas because I wanted him to like me. Now I just feel like I was being an idiot. I was acting out of character and trying to get this charismatic, gorgeous, successful omega to like me.
I take a deep breath but my thoughts are shattered by the sound of heavy footsteps on the walkway outside.
"What going on?" I ask, glancing at Anders.
Anders shakes his head.
There's a knock on the door. Heavy, angry.
I freeze. Why am I scared?
Anders gets up and answers the door. Three security guards are standing outside with Warren.
Before I can demand an explanation, Anders steps out of the way.
"He's right here." His words chill me to the bone.
"Isaac? You need to come with us," one of the security guards says in a tone that makes me think I'm going to meet a firing squad.
"No," I say with a frown. I'm surprised by my own words. "Not until you tell me what this is about. I haven't done anything wrong."
"This will go a lot better if you don't resist," the guard instructs me.
"You don't have the right to take me anywhere," I retort. "You're not cops. I haven't broken any laws, or rules, or done anything wrong. You can't make me leave." My blood is beginning to boil. First, Anders, now this? What the actual
