even just want to hang out, you can text or call anytime.”

“Thanks, man. I’ll give you mine too.” We exchanged information and finally Jay shook my hand. “Next Tuesday at six, right?”

“We’ll be there.” I gave him one last smile. “Thank you, Jay; for talking to me and for agreeing to meet with Brooks. I know you’ll make him very happy.” After another smirk and a wave, I left him alone, hoping like hell he didn’t back out.

I entered the house with a spring in my step; the day had thrown me a curveball of the best kind. I just wished I could tell Brooks about my lunch meeting, but I promised Jay I wouldn’t say anything, and I wanted to keep his trust.

I went towards our bedroom, but heard the shower still running from the hall, so I took my bags back into the living room. I placed the soft blue throw pillows on either side of the couch and the vanilla candle on the coffee table. I carried the pine candle into the kitchen and placed it on the counter. I threw the sacks away and by the time I re-entered the hallway, the shower turned off.

A minute later, Brooks stepped out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist as steam billowed out around him. His hair was slicked back and his skin was pink and pretty. “Honeybear, I swear you get sexier every time I see you.” I hugged him around the stomach and he groaned. I released him and gave him a worried look. “What’s wrong?”

“My back’s sore. I didn’t realize I was hunched over my project so much until I finished and sat up to a shot of pain. I took some Tylenol and a hot shower to help, but it’s still hurting.”

“I’m so sorry,” I frowned. “Come lie down on the bed; I’ll see if I can work it out for you.”

“Are you sure?”

I shook my head at my silly man. “Of course I’m sure, Brooks. Come on.” I took his hand and led him across the hall. When I reached for our bedroom door knob, Brooks pulled back on my hand.

“Wait!” I stilled my hand and looked back at him. “Your surprise is in there.”

“Ooh, I have a surprise?”

“That was my project,” he shrugged. I gave him a big excited smile like I hadn’t already figured that out.

“Can I see? Pleeeease?” I batted my eyelashes at him.

He smirked at me, reminding me of Jay and giving me a guilt pain in my stomach over keeping the secret from him. It’s only nine more days. “Okay,” he gave in. “It’s on the nightstand.”

I squealed and pushed the door open. I dropped his hand and ran to the nightstand. My heart swelled and my breath caught at what I found. He’d carved a beautiful scroll design around the frame I gave him that held our picture from the butterfly house. On each corner, he’d etched a heart that read B+N inside. I picked up the frame and ran my fingers across the wood, feeling the dips and raises of the pattern.

“Do you like it?” he asked nervously from behind me.

“I love it,” I whispered. I put it back on the stand and turned around to give him a gentle hug. “Thank you, it’s beautiful.” Brooks could buy me anything, but it was so special to have something he made with his own hands. “And I love that now we can both look at it when we go to sleep and when we wake up.”

Brooks chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, groaning again. “That’s it; up on the bed,” I instructed. I wrapped my fingers around the top of his towel. “Oh, and you won’t be needing this.” I winked and untucked the fabric, letting it fall to the ground. I smiled at the way his pretty soft dick lay perched on top of his heavy, hairy balls.

“Keep looking at me like that and I won’t be able to lay on my stomach.” I laughed, though the way his dick plumped a little told me he wasn’t joking.

“Sorry, you’re just so hot!”

“And you’re crazy,” he replied, shaking his head. Before I could argue, he pecked my lips and climbed onto the bed.

I went to the nightstand and grabbed a mostly-full bottle of massage oil. I had a ton left over from when I was a therapist. Plus, the stuff was fabulous lube in a pinch. I stepped out of my shoes,
