My Grumpy Old Bear - Jayda Marx Page 0,14
And yeah, I taught myself. It’s just a hobby, but I like it.”
“Wow, I’m impressed.”
He squeezed my hand in thanks. “So what’s something I don’t know about you?”
“Hmm…” I had the gift of gab and had told him a lot about myself in the past month. Especially when I was met with stony silence so many times and had to fill the air. “Oh, I know; I’m vers.”
“Jesus,” Brooks breathed, tipping his face up to the roof of my car.
“What? Is that bad?”
“No, it’s just...I wasn’t expecting that.”
“Oh, okay. Yeah, I figured it out in college. I kind of went a little wild; there were a lot more gay guys in college than high school. A lot of gay professors, too, believe it or not. I was more attracted to them than the students. And as long as they weren’t my professors, I was free to…” I stopped talking when I noticed Brooks cracking his knuckles again. “Is something wrong?”
“Nope. Just picturing myself strangling all the fucking professors at your college.”
Okay, Brooks wasn’t kidding when he said he was jealous and territorial. It was hot as hell that he got worked up over the guys I’d been with years ago, when he and I didn’t even know each other. “Sorry. Anyway, my point was just that I like pitching and catching, so to speak. What about you? Any preference?”
“Good lord, you’re trying to give me a heart attack aren’t you?” he asked, still staring at the roof.
“You don’t have to answer,” I replied quickly. “It was just a random thought I had. Well, lots of random thoughts I guess. Now that you’re my boyfriend I guess I can tell you that I’ve pictured us together a lot. In my fantasies, you’ve always been on top, but like I said, I’m fine with...hey, are you okay?” He was looking a bit sweaty. “You don’t actually have a heart condition I should know about, do you?”
He finally turned his head to look at me. “No, and it's a good thing too, or I’d probably be dead right now. Fuck you’re sexy, Noah.” Oh. I was just making conversation, but I’ll take sexy!
“You’re sexy too.” He scoffed with an eye roll, which made me frown. I’d have to make him believe it. I reached across with one hand while I steered with my other to touch his cheek. “I love your gray hair and this scruffy beard. And you have the prettiest eyes I’ve ever seen.” I trailed my fingers down to his chest. “I love your thick body and how your arms feel when they hold me.” Granted, he’d only hugged me once when I pulled the car over earlier, but it was awesome. My hand smoothed down his thigh onto his knee, where his shorts had ridden up. “And I love these hairy legs of yours. Are you hairy all over?”
“Yeah,” he answered in a thick, husky voice.
I moaned. “God, I can’t wait to see your beautiful body.” I nestled my fingers into his leg hair and pulled slightly, making him moan.
“Jesus,’ he breathed as I turned into the parking lot of our destination. Luckily, he’d been distracted enough not to notice the signs as we got closer.
I pulled into a spot, killed the engine and unbuckled, turning in my seat to face Brooks. “We’re here, honeybear.”
He blinked hard and looked around at the parking lot, which was fairly empty. He couldn’t see the building we were here for, because it was tucked behind some trees.
“Um...I don’t think I can stand up right now,” he muttered.
“Is your back stiff from the drive?” I asked, worried I’d picked somewhere too far for his comfort.
“No, I’m stiff elsewhere.”
Oh. Ohhh. A wicked grin crossed my lips. “Okay, that’s hot.” He gave me a disbelieving look, but I just nodded quickly. “I made my boyfriend hard for the first time! That’s so sweet!”
“You’ve got a strange definition of sweet, Sunshine,” he replied, shaking his head. “And who said it’s the first time?”
My jaw dropped. “What?” He gave me that sexy smirk again and reached for the door handle. “Wait, I need details!” I pleaded as he gripped the door frame and hoisted himself from the car. I jumped from my own door and jogged around the front of the vehicle to him. “When? Where? I need-” my words dried up in my throat as my eyes trailed down his body. In his shorts was a long, thick lump that nearly reached his hip. “Whoa. Good
