When my alarm went off the next morning, I tried to reach for it but I found myself trapped by a pair of muscular arms. I giggled when I tried to move Major off me and he pulled his arms tighter around me.

“Major,” I said, but he didn’t seem to hear me. “Major,” I said a little louder. “I have to get up.”

Some muffled words came from his mouth. I figured out he said something about it being too fucking early. I giggled again and managed to find my way out of his arms. I turned off the alarm and headed to the bathroom. I didn’t need to shower since I would have one after practice. Once I put my hair up I was done. Karma was waiting for me in the living room.

“I noticed Major didn’t sleep on the couch,” she said with a smirk.

“Nope. He decided that it would be good for me to have him sleep in the same bed.”
