Lots of Naughty & A Little Nice - Leigh Lennon Page 0,33
as he pulls back. “Yeah, it’s tempting, but let’s give our little toy maker a night of memories with us and angsty emo girl decorating their house for Christmas!”
I follow them out of my office because I already know I’m caught, so I might as well embrace it.
I watch both men as they devour ten tacos each. “These are fucking awesome. What are they called again?”
“Thai chicken curry tacos,” I respond, soaking the skillet. All of us had been starving from decorating two Christmas trees and setting out all my mom had collected throughout the years. I made sure everything that had belonged to my mother is on display downstairs.
“Are they still eating?” Whitney appears in the kitchen in a pair of short cutoffs, fishnet stockings, and her Doc Martens. She has a large puffy coat over what I’m sure is a skintight top.
“Yeah, haven’t you seen? Christmas has exploded all around your house. You both put us to work, and we’re growing boys,” Knox responds.
Whit gives him a shrug, turning to me, her large dark browns turning to puppy eyes. “So would you be okay with me staying at Jessica’s tonight?”
I pop one brow higher than the other. Knox is behind Whitney, and he’s giving me a thumbs-up. I attempt to ignore him and extend my hand, asking for her phone. She knows what I’m doing but is allowing it.
“At 1 a.m., I expect to see you and your phone at Jessica’s house. And more so, I’ll be calling you. So if it’s what you want to do…”
“Fine, you can track my phone.” She’s a little too eager to have a night away from my curfew, but trust has to start somewhere.
“And listen, here’s the thing, missy, trust is easily lost. So keep that in mind.”
She leans over and gives me a kiss. “Have fun tonight.” Her attention is on the two men in the room whose eyes have been undressing me. “Have fun, boy genius and Robin Hood.” Her cackle is like before, and we know we’ve been found out.
Before she’s even out of the room, Ro and Knox have all the dishes at the sink, hurrying with loading everything into my dishwasher. “Are you both a little motivated?”
“Fuck, Ave, what sort of question is that? I’ll answer you better when I’m finger fucking you, and your ruby red lips are wrapped around Rowan’s beautiful cock.”
His naughty words have me helping with the dishes because for one night, I’m choosing what makes me happy, and these two are it for me.
Part of me wants to offer to stay here, but how do I leave my own house if I freak out? Plus, in case my sister ends up at home, physically seeing something is different from her suspecting it.
My keys and phone are on my antique table in the foyer, and my heart stills with the phone call from Whit. “Hold up, guys. It’s Whit.” I answer the phone anxiously, always worried when she’s out of my sight. “Whit, you okay?”
I take in a deep breath, then let it out, happy that she’s simply forgotten her purse and isn’t in an accident on the side of the road. “Where are you? I’ll bring it to you. Okay, see you in ten minutes. I’ll pull up and drop it off.”
Both men stop in the doorway. “Where are we going, baby?”
“Let me run this to my sister, and I’ll meet you at the house.”
Knox’s hands stop me as I’m out on the porch when the outdoor lights of the neighborhood draw my attention to every individual house. It’s as if I’m staring at a postcard, and may I dare say, it’s breathtaking. “No, let us ride with you,” he insists, dragging my concentration back to him.
It’s funny because Ro is by far, from what I can tell, more demanding but is levelheaded. I think he understands I can’t be pushed.
“Sweetie,” Ro begins, and it sends flutters through my body when he calls Knox sweetie. I love it. “Let’s give her some space, okay?”
Knox is also precious when he pouts. Without thinking, I stand on my tiptoes and kiss both men. “I’ll be over soon.” I want to say get started without me, but I don’t know what I want. Well, I guess that’s a lie. I want exactly what Knox described to me earlier.
He holds onto me a little longer. “Be careful, toy maker. We’ll be waiting for you.”
And because I’m ready for them, I waste no time, hurrying to
