Keeping Kenzie - Pepper North Page 0,35
me,” he commanded. Osiris reached between them to press on that compact bundle of nerves.
“Daddy!” Kenzie screamed into the body-heated hotel room as she tumbled into a massive orgasm as his body lunged and froze deep within her. His last thrusts extended her sensations until she lay limp on the damp sheets. When he gathered her in his arms and rotated to hold her body against him, Kenzie pressed a kiss against his powerful chest and allowed herself to crash back into sleep.
Chapter 17
Rousing the next morning to Osiris’ sweet kisses along her neck, Kenzie raised her arms to loop around his neck. When he lifted his head to meet her gaze, the tenderness in his eyes blew her away. Her Daddy cared for her so much. Her heart skipped a beat. How did she get so lucky?
“I don’t know exactly what you’re thinking, Baby girl, but I love you,” Osiris softly answered her look.
“I love you, too, Daddy.”
“I’d keep you here all day, but I think we want to finally get to SANCTUM today. Shall we jump in the shower and grab some breakfast before hitting the road?”
“I’d like that. I want to see where your new home will be.”
“Our new home,” he gently corrected.
“Our home,” she breathed before caressing down the line of his powerful bicep. Glancing back at him, she blurted, “You don’t have to keep me with you just because I’m a mess.”
“A mess? What are you talking about? You are the perfect Little girl I’ve searched for years to find.”
Closing her eyes, Kenzie named all the reasons he might not want her around. “I lost everything in the fire. I got fired. I was thrown in jail by my ex-husband. He’s a crook who probably contributed to that building collapse. They’re probably going to call me to testify.” She swallowed hard before adding, “That all adds up to mess in my book.”
“I should spank your bottom for not believing in your Daddy.”
She peeked at him from under her lashes. “Not believing in you?”
“I know you weren’t responsible for the fire or for getting fired. Your ex-husband is an awful person, and you were young and easily misled. Finally, if you get called to testify, I’ll sit in the front row and support you.”
“You’d go with me?”
“I wouldn’t allow you to go without me. That’s not the way Daddies operate, Baby girl. Daddies take care of their Littles. You don’t have to do tough things by yourself anymore,” Osiris shared in a tender voice.
She blinked up at him, digesting his words. Kenzie had never had a partner in life. The idea that Osiris wanted in for all the recent craziness that was her life astounded her. Not knowing how to answer him, she nodded, hoping he would understand.
“The longer we’re together, the more you’ll rely on my support. I’m going to be there for you—no matter what happens,” he added before leaning down to kiss her lips softly. “For now, let’s hide from the rest of the world in SANCTUM for a while. I think we both need to escape. Up and in the shower, Baby girl,” he instructed, rolling away from her to stand next to the bed.
Kenzie stared at his body, posed in all its beauty before her. His strength and sculpted form fascinated her. Quickly, she swung her feet over the side of the bed to reach for him. When he danced away from her hands with a laugh, the game was on. Chasing him to the bathroom, she paused as he turned on the water.
“Baby girls first,” he invited, standing back from the spray.
When she stepped into the frigid deluge, Kenzie immediately tried to dart out. Osiris crowded her back into the spray of cold water. “Daddy!” she protested.
“You needed a bit of cooling off there, Kenzie. If I touch you again, we’ll be here until afternoon,” he laughed as he adjusted the water to warm. Picking up the soap, Osiris glided the small bar over her body before washing himself.
An hour later, they were on the road with a bag of takeout breakfast sandwiches from the diner where they’d eaten with Ben Underwood and Samantha. One huge biscuit sandwich with bacon and egg was all that Kenzie could stuff in her stomach. She watched out of the corner of her eye as Osiris consumed the final one—his third.
“What?” he said, catching her staring. “I’m a growing boy,”
“I get to be on top next time,” she said without realizing what she had
