Keeping Her - Jordan Marie Page 0,59
two about finished?” Jasmine huffs.
Luke and Hawk look at one another and Luke nods slowly, giving me a wink.
“Yeah, baby. We’re done.”
“Remind me why I keep you around again?” I ask him, my voice saccharine sweet.
“For my eleven-inch dick?”
“Lord have mercy,” Nicole and Kayden both whisper. I’m afraid to look at them because Mom is standing beside them.
“Whoa man, too much fucking information. I do not need to know how big your dick is, especially when it’s my sister you’re slipping it to,” Hawk growls, his face filled with disgust. I hold my head down, pinching the bridge of my nose.
Luke does what he’s famous for when he’s been an ass, he grunts.
“Cool your jets, Hawk. He’s lying anyway,” I respond, knowing that Luke will make me pay for this later.
“Red—” he grumbles.
I grin at him, not backing down. Besides he probably is lying. We’ve not measured but I’m guessing it’s ten inches tops. He shakes his head, his hand moving down to my hip, squeezing it and silently promising retribution.
“Well, duh, Sis. I’m not stupid,” Hawk replies. “They don’t come in that size unless you’re a porn star with a daily dose of meds in your arsenal and I always wondered if those penis stretchers work. Remember that movie we watched once when Mom and Dad went to Vegas and we had the house to ourselves?”
“Dude, stop,” B.B. says, laughing, but still able to get the words out as he joins the crowd—and proving that everyone in the damn room is listening. “You’re destroying your own rep here. There’s only one reason a man would ever wonder about something like that and that’s if he was lacking downstairs.”
“Fuck you,” Hawk jokes—mostly. “What are you doing here? I thought you were going on a run with your Dad and Skull?”
I feel Luke’s body stiffen behind me, and I know he’s uncomfortable here. I snuggle into him.
B.B looks at Luke, and since Luke wore his cut today, he sees right away who Luke is—unlike Hawk, who has nothing to do with the club, Torch’s son, B.B., is steeped in the Devil’s Blaze and I have no doubt he knows who Luke is and more importantly who Luke’s club is.
“It was canceled.” That’s all he says, but his gaze is locked with Luke’s.
“B.B., I’d like you to meet my old man. Luke, this is B.B.”
“Your old man,” B.B. says, with a long drawn out wolf whistle. “You know you were fucking a Savage princess?” he asks Luke, mostly ignoring me.
I finally get up the nerve to look at my mom. She’s staring at me intently, but I swear for the life of me, I can’t read her face.
Luke…grunts. I’ve learned that this is really just his way of not answering. I sigh.
“He didn’t know until last night,” I breathe out, almost to my limit with this damn shower and it hasn’t even started.
“Damn, I would have liked to have been a fly on that wall,” B.B. says.
“What did you do when you found out?” My mom asks this question, surprising me. She’s not looking at me now, she’s looking at Luke.
I’m not sure that’s a good thing.
“He left because he was pissed at me,” I mutter.
“And you didn’t leave him or tell him to fuck off when he came back?” Mom asks, and I frown. It’s so weird to hear Mom say fuck. It’s more than the fact that she’s my mother, of all of the old women in the Savage club, Mom is the shiest, the quietest…
“Why would I leave?”
“Jazz, you always leave,” Hawk laughs. “If anyone gets pissed at you, you take off. It’s your M.O.”
I look up at Luke, he’s watching me closely.
“I don’t always run,” I mutter. I expected him to smile, but he doesn’t.
“You do, Jazzie. I love you, but you always run,” Mom says.
“Not anymore,” I tell her. “Luke is stuck with me.”
“Christ…” B.B. mumbles.
The rest of them and their voices blur. I’m lost in Luke’s eyes and the smile on his lips. Pride fills me, because I know I’m the one that put that smile on his face and when he hugs me, I’m pretty sure I’m wearing the same smile.

“You can leave Daisy with me. I’ll be watching Ty for Katie and Daisy will be fine with me,” Carrie says, and I fight down the urge to say no.
I don’t know why I’m being so cautious. Fuck, before Jasmine pointed it out, I didn’t even realize that I was neglecting my little girl. Now
