Karma (Kings of Rebellion MC Book 1) - K.T Fisher Page 0,4
time we have pulled up in front of my home, I have made up my mind. I want to move back to England even if my family won’t take me back it’s better than feeling scared and alone here.
Chapter 2
I enter my house and I breathe a sigh of relief. There seems to be no damage from what I can see and Andrew’s not sitting on my sofa waiting for me, which is what I was expecting. I look around and if it wasn’t for my circumstances I would be happy to be back in my little house. It’s a tiny place but it’s mine and I love it.
I make sure to lock the door behind me and leave my suitcase close by. I’ll leave that until tomorrow, and with any luck I won’t be here for much longer. I place my keys in the pink bowl I keep in the living room and decide to head straight to bed. I have no intention of watching TV or staying awake longer, because I’m wiped out!
I stroll into my bedroom, pulling out my hair tie and fully intend to get my head down. I yawn, just thinking about getting some sleep. I drop my handbag onto my bed and look around the dark room, I suddenly feel on edge again. Something feels off and I look around to see if anything is out of place. I haven’t turned the light on though because I’m going straight to bed, so I can’t see shit. I step around my bed to turn on my lamp beside my bed. When the dim light brightens my bedroom I feel a little better but when I turn around and see two huge men standing in my doorway, I scream.
These men are massive! Every bit of skin that I can see is covered in tattoos including their faces. They’re only wearing trousers and what looks like a leather vest. They look scary and I step back from them as they take two steps towards me.
“Get out my house!” I scream at them and reach for my bag. “I’ll call the police!”
My threats don’t stop them so I dig into my bag and fetch my phone. However, when I begin to dial one of the goons snatches it from me and throws it against the wall.
“What the fuck are you doing!?” I shout. “Get the fuck out of my house!”
They continue to stare at me and as well as feeling scared I start to get angry. How dare these filthy looking criminals think that they can come into my house?
“There’s no need to shout, L baby.” I hear from behind them and I freeze at hearing Andrew’s voice. I’ve always hated his pet name for me, but because he seemed like a decent guy, I never told him so.
“Don’t call me that.” I glare at him as he appears from behind the large men.
Andrew totally ignores me and smiles at the men on either side of him. “This is Fist.” He motions to the bald man to his left. “And this here is Fury.” He motions to the man on his right, who has long greasy hair tied in a ponytail.
“Nice names.” I snap. “Now you and your friends need to get out.”
I might sound angry and confident but inside I am terrified. Who wouldn’t be? I have my ex standing in my room, who I have recently found out is a mad man. Who brought along his dangerous looking buddies that I have never seen before.
Andrew just laughs at me. “Why would I do that?”
“Get out of my house, Andrew.” I repeat.
Andrew steps towards me and I shrink back against the wall. When he stands right in front of me he grips my chin and sniffs at my neck.
“I’ve missed you, Lauren.” He growls. “Why did you leave?”
“I wanted to visit friends.” I reply. I don’t want to tell him about my family, I want to try and keep them safe.
Andrew chuckles. “Friends? Lauren, we both know that you haven’t got friends. You’re a bitch and nobody likes you.” He strokes my hair and pets me like a dog. “We both know that you were running from me.”
He almost seems proud that I am scared of him. “No.” I disagree.
Andrew presses his body against me. “Stop the fucking lying! You’re a dirty fucking whore! I knew you were a bitch but that didn’t bother me, you’re a hot woman, Lauren. I was prepared to deal with being
