Just Breathe Again - Mia Villano Page 0,74
voice was so strained and raspy.
“No, Kane. I’m going to come so hard.” Jeannie cried out. Just as she was going over the edge, Kane began to pull the beads out of her and the orgasm racked her body. The sounds coming out of her mouth were of pure erotic satisfaction. She never had an orgasm as intense as the final bead came out and Kane came inside her. They bucked together, their bodies’ slick with sweat, locked together in a dance of sexual intimacy. Jeannie fell on the bed and Kane collapsed on top of her. Jeannie had never felt so satisfied in her life. She wanted to look at him so she turned over to face him. He braced himself on his elbows and stared into her eyes.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, Kane,” she sighed running her hands through his hair. He bent back down and bathed her in luscious licks and kisses. It was such a private and intimate act and brought her to tears after he was done.
They stayed in bed talking and touching. Kane didn’t want to get up and neither did Jeannie. It was nice to know they had the whole house to themselves, and no time restraints or interruptions. When their stomachs started to growl, they made dinner together, and she showed him how to make the best salad he ever had. They ate by candle light and decided afterward to take a walk out on his property. He wanted to take her for a horseback ride.
The horse was beautiful and Jeannie loved riding her with Kane. It was such a romantic evening she didn’t want it to end, but she also wanted to get back in bed with him. He took her down to the pond where two swans were swimming. They put a blanket down and watched the sun disappear.
“You are something else, Jeannie Franklin,” he said. She sat between his legs, and he wrapped his arms around her. She felt so safe and snug with him. It was like the feeling she had with Vince, only different in a way she couldn’t describe.
“Why do you say that?” She asked turning her head and looking in his deep blue eyes. He kissed her, and she softened into his wet perfect lips.
“I can’t believe how we came together. It’s such a small world. Here you were married to the man that got my wife pregnant. They both passed away and his daughter by my wife brought us together. It could be a novel or a movie.”
She felt his arm loosen as he was digging in his pants pockets.
“I know it’s soon, but I can’t hold back anymore,” he said, taking out a Tiffany’s box and slowly opening it. The ring was stunning. The platinum band held four carats of Tiffany diamonds and was unbelievable.
Jeannie looked shocked as she turned around to face him.
“I can’t imagine not having you in my life. I love you, Carmen loves you, and I want is to marry you. I want to be with you and Michael and, Marsha,” he said, rolling his eyes.
“Will you marry me?”
Tears filled Jeannie’s eyes as she looked into her future for the first time. But, looking into her future brought her to her back to her past.
“Kane, I…I can’t,” she cried. Jeannie jumped up and ran back to the house she saw in the distance. She had to get out of there. She ran as fast as she could to the room she made love to Kane in hours before and quickly found her suitcase. Kane was walking back with the two horses and she had enough time to get out before he caught up to her and changed h
Chapter 23
Throwing her half zipped suitcase in the passenger side she slid in, started the car, and pealed out. Jeannie left the man she loved standing in the driveway looking at her, wondering what he did wrong.
She drove halfway down the road away from Kane’s home and was crying so hard she had to stop the car and pull over. Her cell phone had no signal, and she needed to talk to Marsha.
How could she run off so fast? She was in love with this man yet she couldn’t picture ever marrying anyone else. She was married to Vince and he was all she had known. The tears streamed down her face as she tried to calm down and drive the hour back home.
Finally settling down, she called Marsha and told
