His Obsession - Rose Marie Page 0,21
you join me in the kitchen?” He grabs my hand and pulls me from the couch and into his arms, where he walks with me tucked snug against his body. Before we reach the kitchen, I pull away from him making him pout.
“I need to go to the bathroom, please.” He smirked and bent down eye level to me.
“You’re going to wipe away what I planned on slurping from you huh? It’s a shame to let all the creaminess go to waste… anyway bathrooms are over that way love. Kitchen is out back. I wanted to give you a open view, I think you’ll love it.” I nod and run off to the bathroom, locking myself in.
I look in the mirror and for some reason I can’t recognize myself. Who is this sexy glowing woman staring back at me? I glance down at the shirt that’s been thrown on my body and for some reason my heart skips a beat at how big it is on me. I’ve never been able to wear a shirt from someone I’m dating before… wait did I say dating?
“Fuck, I need to chill. I can’t be letting this man get the best of me like this.” Shit just this morning I was screaming how much I hate him. I refuse to allow that to change overnight. I still hate his guts. He put me through hell. Just because he switches gears and became this magnificently, loving, compassionate, and charming person…I won’t be swayed!

She’s simply magnificent. I want to lay at her feet and worship her for the rest of my life. I vow to treat her like the queen she is from today on… I really have no choice in the matter. We will get married one day and have three kids, a goldfish and a two huskies named Bingo and Rollie.
To cool down I go to make the plates and take out some more champagne. When everything is set up, I look it over wanting it to be perfect for her, peeking at the time. She should be done by now huh? That’s when a thought takes over my mind. Did she leave? About to panic I go to take off my “kiss the chef” apron when I hear her quiet footsteps padding over to the kitchen. I felt a relief like no other.
“Come on Angel, the food is done.” She stays still, just staring.
“Why'd you set the alarm?” She eyed me suspiciously. Shit.
“I can never be too careful, I have a precious life in here. Why were you going to sneak out?” I ask her half-jokingly. I smile going over to her.
“No, I have a change of clothes in the car. I wanted to go get them.” I allow my eyes to roam free over her person one more time and lick my lips.
“Don’t worry about that. You look beautiful as is.” She looks away shyly and I go around and take her hand gently. When she doesn’t respond, I peck her lips and she gives me her adorable confused face again. I'm so damn happy she's home, I can barely concentrate on anything else. “Are you ready to eat, My Angel?” She gives me a blank face and I peck her lips again. “Sit, let me feed you baby.”
I walk her over to the table that’s sitting in the kitchen, facing a beautifully open backyard with a pond. I pull out her chair and make sure she’s comfortable. Grabbing the pink champagne, I set her food down and pour her a bit more. I take a seat and watch her face take in the meal, contently sighing.
“Wow this looks amazing!” In anticipation, I watch her take a bite and moan her approval. Damn I want her to moan like that for me.
“I’m glad you like it.” I guess I was staring to hard because she looks up and wipes her mouth.
“What is there something on my face?” Not yet!
“Oh, no uhm…sorry.” I quickly pick up my fork digging into the lobster tail and shrimp étouffée, buttery homemade rolls and steamed white rice.
“It’s ok. I’m sorry to be eating like such a pig. It's just so delicious and my favorite meal.” She smiles eating more. I know it’s your favorite meal that’s why I cooked it. “Where'd you learn to cook like this? I hate cooking.”
“I just picked up a few things traveling.” That's a lie. I knew my Angel hated cooking, so I spent the summer after I hired her in
