His Loyal Rebel - Debra Kayn Page 0,77

gets done this week."

Priest looked around the table. "Anything else we need to know? Speak now or fuck off."

The call to end the meeting came. Priest banged the table. The rush of scraping chair legs filled the room before the MC brothers' voices overtalked each other.

Whip got up and headed toward the door.

"Whip?" called Priest.

He stepped back, letting the others pass him. Then, he made his way to the table again. "Yeah?"

"When's Twyla popping out your kid?" asked Priest.

"She's due at the end of June."

With how much sex they had leading up to getting married, he suspected she got pregnant right from the start. His chest broadened, thinking about his woman, carrying his child.

"We're making a run to Northern California in May. I'd like you to lead the group unless you think you'll need to stick close to home." Priest leaned back in the chair. "Nicole's parents are coming in, and I'd go on the run, but her dad would make an excuse to meet us at the commune, and I'd rather keep him out of the marijuana plots."

"Nah, I should be good to go." He could always have Twyla stay with Tracy and Rick if he had any concerns about her pregnancy at that time. "Do you have a crew in mind?"

"Curley's got the list." Priest stood. "Fuck. I forgot to have the third crew of riders be at the river next week when the lumber is delivered. I'll get Wyatt working on getting everyone together at a future date, so we can get the new cabin erected."

"I'll spread the word." Whip walked out and joined the others in the meeting room.

Twyla stood with her back toward him, talking to Joey and Callie. He approached her, putting his arms around her waist and feeling the bump the baby made in her stomach.

Kissing her neck, he said, "Miss me?"

She reached behind her and squeezed his thigh. His cock pulsed in response.

"I did." She turned in his arms and looked up at him. "I hope you don't mind I asked Cami if she'd like to come over to the house soon. I really like her and Chrischris, and she's so easy to ask questions to about the pregnancy, seeing as how she has a little one."

"Sure. Have her bring Chrischris and I can show him the progress on the shop in the backyard. We can kick back and have a few beers and stay out of your way."

"That'll be fun." She walked with him to the door and stepped outside.

The weather had changed since they'd arrived. The clouds overhead appeared more gray than white, blocking out the sun.

Twyla shivered. He looked at her. "Where's your coat?"

"In the car." She looked up at the sky. "I thought for sure we'd have good weather."

"It's too early to say. Next week, another blast of snow could hit us."

"In April?" She groaned. "I have spring fever."

He walked her to the car and opened the driver's door. "I'll follow you."

"Anywhere?" She grinned, awkwardly getting into the driver's seat with her stomach almost touching the steering wheel.

He leaned down and put her seatbelt on, rubbing her belly. "Anywhere. Anytime."

Kissing her, he closed the door and walked over to his motorcycle.

On his Harley, he looked down the long line of bikes. Tarkio Motorcycle Club would thrive another day. For a new generation.

The Harley roared to life underneath him. He pulled away from the clubhouse and followed his woman.

Freedom never tasted so sweet.
