His to Claim: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance - Taylor Vaughn Page 0,74
understand the concept of this love making. It is not just an act of lust now, something necessary to produce an heir.
My entire being is engaged, my body, my hearts, and my mind. And though I am in full rutting fever, it feels as if time has slowed down as I drag my diijo in and out of her sweet hot.
“I love you…I wish this could last forever,” Ki’Ra says, echoing my thoughts. “But I’m going to come. Please, please come with me.”
I raise my head to look at Ki’Ra’s beautiful face which now glistens with the dew of exertion from our love making. “Of course, k’vani,” I whisper. “Anything. Anything for you.”
Capturing her lips, I let go. Spilling my seed deep into her sweet hot. I show her I am still hers to command, even though I am no longer in cuffs.
Then I hold myself inside of her for as long as I can, before reluctantly pulling out and collapsing to my side of the mats.
Just as before I left, my little k’vani, rolls after me and molds her body to my side. I welcome her back, wrapping my arms tightly around her as she nestles against my chest.
This feels…incredible and right. Relief washes over me, my body fully relaxing for the first time in many days.
“Ki’Ra, I would like a new treaty,” I say as we cling to each other. “I wish for you to stay with me.”
She stills. “Until the baby is born?”
“No. For always. The very thought of you leaving me causes me great pain. I am a proud man and I will not always do the right thing, but I believe that you can teach me. So you will tell me now if you are willing to stay with your imperfect alien overlord.”
She lifts her head and searches my face. “Are you serious? I thought you were expected to marry a Xalthurian female shortly after the baby is born.”
I frown down at her. “So L’Than told you of this, too.”
A look I don’t understand or like crosses over her face. Then she says, “I’m just wondering what your people will say?”
“I am Kel. They will accept my every decision,” I answer, studying her closely, as I once again command, “You will tell me what else the hybrid told you.”
She sits all the way up, but then looks away from me as she says, “I…I love you, D’Rek. But…I don’t know how this can work when you still view my people the way you do. The way you talked about us when you were breaking me. I kind of get that you were angry, but even so, I don’t understand why you would believe us to be lazy and naturally duplicitous. You’ve barely dealt with us. Where would you get such an idea?”
I release a heavy sigh before telling her about the report N’Ure put together for me. “So, you see, how I came to this conclusion. The report was quite thorough.”
She shakes her head. “No, that report is wrong. Yes, from time to time there are some squabbles on New Terrhan, but we have worked very hard to make the best of the very little we are given. Did that report tell you that our provisions have not increased since the beginning of our agreement, despite our population growth? Or that some of the seeds you keep giving us are not viable options for the soil on New Terrhan? Did that report tell you how we’ve constructed a work system based from the best ideas from the old planet governing many systems? Or that we help each other whenever one of us is in need? Did it?” she demands.
I frown. I do not recall reading any of this and I have gone through the report more than once. “No, it does not.”
“Instead of relying on this so-called report, why don’t you visit New Terrhan and see for yourself?”
Her proposal has merit. It could also very well help me to decide what to do about the Kaidorian’s treaty offer. “Yes…I will go to your planet to make my own survey,” I say slowly. “We will go together.”
Her lips curve into a smile. “Thank you, D’Rek.” She presses her lips to mine.
“This pleases you?” I ask.
“Yes.”
“And what of us? Will you return to Xalthuria with me after my findings?”
Again she smiles. “Yes.”
I am still new to sharing my emotions with words, so I show her how that makes me feel, by pulling her even closer to me
