He's Coming in Hot (Salacious Summer Singe #6) - J. D. Light Page 0,12
in the corner and digging inside before pulling out three boxes of Avengers Legos. "Pick which one you think would be easiest for a novice like me, and I'll get dinner started. I figured a casserole, since we are going to be busy."
"Busy?" I squeaked as he set the boxes on the table and stood directly in front of me, tempting me to look at his crotch, since it was just barely above eye level.
I didn't look, I gave it a passing glance on my way up his body… and then I looked because whoa, those are thin jeans.
"With our hands," he said, wiggling his fingers in front of his crotch.
"Busy with our hands?"
Did I sound as stupid as I felt? Probably, but I really couldn't seem to focus on what exactly he was talking about.
He motioned toward the boxes on the table. "Building."
My eyes moved over there, and then back up to his face with a cringe, hoping that smile he was trying to hide wasn't his way of making fun of me.
"Right," I said, chuckling softly. "Building. With our hands."
I lifted mine and waved them around a bit to show him I had some, which obviously made him have to work harder to hide his laughter at my expense.
Remember, Newell? You're here to play with Legos. I shifted around on the couch, hoping he wouldn't notice. I'm erecting something, right now.
Well, I'd already erected it, actually.
He nodded before walking off to the kitchen, and because I had absolutely no self-control, I checked out his ass the whole way, waiting until he was in the kitchen to look down at the boxes he'd pulled out.
I smiled when I realized that any one of these would do, since they were all aged for kids, and it was probably a good idea to start small like this. We'd probably be able to do all three tonight if he didn't mind me staying for a while.
Picking up the box with Black Panther on the front, I opened the cardboard and took out the figurine, a sad smile on my lips as ran my fingers over the points of his little head.
"Black Panther," Lawton said, holding out a hand, and I placed the little figure in his palm. "I think he probably needs to go up here, where he can watch over us all."
He put it up on the mantle of the fireplace and I smiled.
Easing to the floor I crawled around the coffee table to the other side, so there was plenty of room before clearing the table of the other two boxes and the coasters he had sitting in the center before removing the contents from the box and doing my best to organize the pieces in a way that would make this a little simpler.
The fighter went together fairly easily, and it was on to the next box. I was surprised to look up in the middle of the third to find that it was well past eleven.
I'd been doing my best to ignore the way Lawton's pants seemed less and less inclined to stay in position, but it was incredibly difficult, especially when he leaned up on his knees, resting his elbows on the table to examine our work, and his jeans gapped in the front. How was I not supposed to peer into the gap in hopes of catching a glimpse? I was human. A horny, horny human.
I swallowed hard, gripping the pillow I'd kept with me the entire night. Even when we'd climbed back up on the couch to eat, I'd had the damn thing in my lap.
I didn't doubt that he knew too, since he kept smirking at the thing.
Settling back, I took a deep breath to steady myself. My hole tingled, and I bit my lip, wishing I had the ability to cool my body down even just a little, since I was sure the flush of arousal was showing just as much in my face as it would be behind this pillow.
The man and his gorgeous body had made it nearly impossible for me to hold a thought for very long at all, and between the two of us, we really hadn't been moving at the pace I'd expected of us.
Who knew Legos could be so sexy? Parents everywhere would be freaking out about the way my mind was perverting the usually wholesome pastime.
To make matters worse, we'd been brushing against each other all night as we worked, and my body was completely buzzing
