Her Dirty Builders (Men at Work #10) - Mika Lane Page 0,25

it was all I could do not to run him over getting to my room.

He set me on the edge of my bed and pulled off my sneakers, then laid me back. His warm hands ran up my thighs until my dress was pushed clear to my panties, and his warm breath hovered outside them.

It was torture. Pure torture. I grabbed at the sheets under me for some sort of purchase and pushed my hips up toward him without even thinking about it. I wanted his mouth on me, and I wasn’t going to be able to wait long.

Fortunately, he got the message. As he slid the crotch of my panties aside, I shivered from the cool air on my sex and the anticipation of what was to come.

His tongue flicked my pussy lips without parting them, leaving me squirming and grinding.

A moment later, his tongue invaded me, running from my clit to ass and back as he pulled the crotch of my panties well out of the way. A jolt shot up my spine, and I tensed as one and then two of his fingers entered me.

With a ‘come here’ motion, he tickled me until an orgasm struck. I arched, my body convulsing and my hand slamming the bed under me.

“Oh my god, Ty,” I whispered, my thighs trembling on either side of his head.

He moved up between my legs until he could reach my lips to share what he had just tasted. After what felt like an eternity of delicious kisses, his fingers wandered through my tangled hair before he flipped me over on my side and wrapped his arms around me tightly like a nesting spoon.

ALDEN

“How’s the life of the town’s most eligible bachelor?”

Case glared like I knew he would. But I was beginning to suspect that deep down, he sort of liked it.

Not so much because it helped him pick up chicks—that wasn’t really his thing. Rather, it gave him something to lighten up about.

I was aware of the shape the business was in when Mr. McKinney passed. He hadn’t kept it a secret, at least not from me, which I was grateful for. I learned a lot from him about how to run a business.

And how not to run a business.

Case looked over my shoulder to make sure his mother couldn’t hear and rolled his eyes. “Dude, it’s awesome. Everywhere I go, women are just tearing their clothes off.”

I laughed. “For the likes of you? I doubt it.”

He shook his head. “You know, I’ve decided to laugh about it rather than be annoyed. Everyone has their problems, right? Look at Esme. Her fiancé bailed and left her with a money pit of a house. But do you see her walking around with a cloud over her head?”

He was right. Esme had her ups and downs, no doubt, but she wasn’t letting the recent shit in her life push her off track. She had work that she liked, friends, and from what I could see, a supportive and devoted dad.

Not too shabby if you asked me.

“Speaking of Esme,” I said, “what’s this I hear about her helping you with your school work?”

“Oh yeah. She offered to read the paper I’m writing for my English lit class,” he said. “Not sure I’ll have her do it, but I appreciate her interest, of course.”

“Well. Nice. Very nice.”

He narrowed his eyes at me. “If I didn’t know better, I might say you have a certain amount of interest in our lovely client, too.”

Ah-ha.

“Too? So you’re admitting you’re into her? I knew it.”

And I didn’t blame him one bit.

Or Ty, for that matter.

Esme was a kick-ass chick. There was just no other way to put it.

He nodded. “I do like her. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be working on her house. None of us would. It’s not like we’re in it for the money, that’s for damn sure.”

I looked around the office that used to be Mr. McKinney’s. “I didn’t think I’d ever be interested in another woman after Rosie’s mom bailed on us. That just seemed too big of a betrayal to move on from. And yet I feel so… peaceful around Esme.”

Case took a deep breath. “What are we going to do about this? And what if Ty likes her too? It’s not like we can all date her, you know what I mean?”

I thought for a moment. I’d had an idea when I realized I wasn’t the only one with the hots for Esme, but wasn’t sure
