boards. She’s following leads that match.”
His head shakes. “That’s fuckin’ smart.”
I don’t answer and get back to work.
“Brother, do you have time for lunch?”
I look up blinking then take my glasses off so I can see Jordan without the boards in front of him. “Yeah. I wanted to talk to you before I left.”
He waits for me to close down while talking to Brantley. In the cafeteria I ask, “Can you keep an eye on what surveillance is pulling for the west coast MC Clubs?”
He nods. “Am I watching anyone specifically?”
“No. With everyone running international threats, I don’t want surveillance here overlooked. The Alpha-Bits jumped on the boards. Aaron, Asa, Aris are all Security and surveillance.”
He nods. “Got it. I don’t think they’d drop it. I’ll keep an eye on it and make sure. You need to relax, Brother. Take the days without worrying.”
“Thanks. Anything happening here could tie in to international. Cort needs someone watching for that. Maverick and Brekan have good IT that report to Alpha-Bit Leads.”
He nods. “Aaron and Asa. My surveillance report to them too if it’s outside the MC affiliate Clubs. I got it.”
“The affiliates aren’t all the same IT?” Brantley is surprised.
I don’t say a word. Jordan shakes his head. “Brekan will make them one. He’s not big on the affiliate thing. It works in my favor. Because we send so much to BSC and Phoenix, we’re paying more than we make for what we do in IT. I run followup for Club shit. Delta and MC help with that. They don’t have much for IT other than their normal Club shit. Brekan has me stepping up training so when he merges the IT with Phoenix, we’ll be ready to join Web’s tech departments.”
“This is just the Phoenix affiliates running the threat file?”
Jordan nods. Brantley looks at me. “Major isn’t a tech Brother. He doesn’t understand and Jordan was his second. Jordan took President at the city MC and Major was at a loss. He knew he needed younger and tech savvy. Brekan is there and will fix what Major didn’t get. The old VP was about being President.”
“Fuck. Is this building your only IT?”
That’s a weird question. He was in IT in Phoenix. “No. Champion trains IT, Phoenix trains IT. Every BSC West Club has IT, Security and surveillance. We’ll be adding Clubs as they get their shit straight. Oregon and two in California will be joining us before the end of the year. We’ll keep their IT separate but they’ll have IT too. We’ll get their work without an actual merge with them, like Badass and Baxter does. Brekan is merging the MC affiliates IT with us by next month.”
“I’m still floored that the kids and the IT I’ve seen has amassed information so fast. They just finished the Ops.”
Jordan laughs. I shake my head. “We’ve been working the threats right along with you. Having Alexia with the government programs and international know-how helps. The kids aren’t really kids. They work different. Four hour shift for them is more like eight. For Alder, Akai and Anton, it’s probably more like three hours. If Alder has the virtual him up, it’s less. Their DNA was changed to do this. They're programmed for the computer, Brother. They’re only kids with new shit. Planning and faster processing is in every one of them. Even the Rs are working.”
“It’s like I said, a million little Jeremy’s. They’re unfuckinbelievable.”
I smile. “They are.” I love my little Brothers. They’re so cute with new shit.

“It’s just like the pictures!” My excited girl is happy.
“It is, Lexi. The Alpha-Bits love to hike the little trails. Every trail leads to beautiful views.”
“Dog hike, Web?” Ramell is coming out of his shell. I see him smiling all the time now.
“Your dog is Security for you and goes where you do, Brother. He has a number on the vest because he’s a certified service dog. That means when you leave the compound, he wears the vest and can go to any store or in any building you go in. He’ll love hiking with you. All the dogs do.”
His smile is big. He’s so fucking cute. “Danka, Web.” He switches to German. “I love dog. You show I same. Alder say important.”
I nod. Alexia tears her eyes from the window and bends in front of him. It’s the first time she’s been away from the door. She said seeing it from the bike is different. “Everyone is important. Every life has value in our
