She shook her head. “Not old. Just a young pup with lots of time to discover new things.”
He reeled her in for a hug. “Oh, yes? What would those be?”
She looped her arms around him and mumbled into his shoulder, feeling snug and secure. “Wyoming, for one thing.”
He laughed. “I can’t wait.”
Neither could she. They were heading off for their honeymoon in a few days.
“Our honeymoon,” he said. “Can you believe it?”
No, she couldn’t. And she couldn’t wait to introduce him to friends like Louisa and so many others.
“Then we have our new jobs,” she said. “Definitely lots of discoveries to be made in that department.” Of course, some parts of the job could only be learned the hard way. But, heck. She was up for that. “And other than that…”
She trailed off, thinking, then gave up. There was only so far into the future she wanted to consider. Why waste a moment of the present, especially when life was so good?
“…I guess we’ll roll with the punches,” she finished.
“Not too many punches, I hope.” Lachlan sighed, looked down at the house, and changed the subject. “I suppose we shouldn’t keep our guests waiting.”
She touched his lips, signaling one last kiss.
Not the last, her dragon reminded her. Not by a long shot.
She shot Trevor a last, heartfelt Thank you, then headed down the hill, swinging her mate’s hand. A cowgirl might ride off into the sunset with her man, but this was Scotland, and skipping down a Highland hill was just as good.
Destiny, her dragon smiled.
Holly grinned. Yes — destiny. A force she’d learned to trust lately. Wherever it led her in the future, she would follow. And Lachlan, she knew, would be at her side every step of the way.

I’m enjoying Anna’s new series just as much as I do her Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch series.
It’s not my normal genre but I do love Anna Lowe’s romance books because of the great way she writes. I am really happy this book was the same great style.
Uncharted is different from Anna’s Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch but I enjoyed the story just as well.
