Declan - Heart of a Tiger (Royal Taiga Streak #1) - J.R. Loveless Page 0,100

some of the things he could do to make Declan moan or growl. He especially liked when Declan purred and he could feel the vibrations in his own chest. They went straight to his lower region and dampened his underwear quite a bit. Opening his mouth, Sean sucked Declan’s tongue into his, enjoying the rumble deep in Declan’s throat.

Declan broke the kiss, panting, and rested his forehead against Sean’s. “Damn, baby, you’ve certainly learned very quickly how to make me forget anything but the need to throw you over my desk and fuck you until we both can’t walk straight.”

Sean squeaked in embarrassment, his cheeks heating. “Declan!”

A husky laugh tumbled from Declan. “I love it when you blush.”

“It’s not nice to tease me,” Sean reprimanded without heat.

“I’m sorry,” Declan replied, still smirking. Sean rolled his eyes as he’d seen Sam do so often. He opened his mouth to say something back, but Declan captured his lips in another deep kiss.

Both of them were gasping for air and their lips swollen when Declan ended it the next time around. Sean sensed Declan’s tiger just beneath the surface as he had many times since they’d mated. Usually it was only when Declan was either really angry or really turned on. This time though, he could actually feel his own tiger pacing in response, wanting nothing more than to let their mate dominate them, make them come apart as he always did. “Declan,” Sean murmured.

“I can feel it too, sexy,” Declan rasped. “But we don’t have time for what I’d love to do to you right now.”

Sean snickered and laid his head on Declan’s shoulder. “Would it make me seem bad if I said I don’t care?”

Declan kissed the side of Sean’s neck. “Not at all. I would love nothing more than to say to hell with it. But I know you wouldn’t want to have that scent on you when you meet the people who are most likely your parents for the first time.”

Sean sat back on Declan’s lap to look at him. His words reminding him of the soon-to-change-his-life event happening in the next hour or so. “You’re right. Thank you.”

“You don’t need to thank me. You’re my mate and I only want to make you happy.”

Frowning, Sean said, “But I have no idea how to make you happy in return.”

Declan’s expression softened. “Baby, don’t you understand how you just being in my life makes me happy? Nothing else matters.”

“But-“ Declan placed a finger over Sean’s lips. “Nothing else matters.”

Peace flowed over Sean and he nodded. Declan smiled. “Now, want to play a game of solitaire until they get here?”

“Okay.”

Declan kept Sean on his lap the entire time, helping point out when Sean got stuck on what card to move. He found himself enjoying the game even more than last time and it even distracted him from his worries. Until a knock came at the office door. “Come in,” Declan called.

Victor entered. “Alpha, the Biancas are here.”

Sean stiffened and Declan ran his hand down Sean’s back. “It’s okay, Sean. Just try to relax.” Looking at Victor, Declan said, “Can you have Rose bring them something to drink and seat them in the living room?”

“Of course, Alpha.” Victor left.

Turning Sean enough to face him, Declan said, “Do you want me to go out there first and explain things to them?”

Did he? But Sean knew he couldn’t hide. He needed to know if they were his family or not. So he shook his head. “No. I’ll go with you.”

Declan smiled. “So strong, gorgeous.”

Sean rolled his eyes again, huffing, but he couldn’t stop his lips from curling at the corners in answer. “Let’s go.”

They stood and Sean preceded Declan out of the office and down the hall. He stopped at the entrance to the living room, just out of eyesight, and took a deep breath. His heart pounded fiercely at his ribcage and his palms grew sweaty. Declan rested his hand on Sean’s shoulder in comfort, but didn’t say anything. Sean closed his eyes and breathed in once more. Then he stepped forward, coming to a halt in the doorway at the sight of a beautiful, dark-haired woman seated on one of the sofas.

A man, equally handsome as the woman was beautiful, sat next to her while a teenager, around Tara’s age, slouched in one of the straight-backed chairs. It was the woman who glanced up first and she gasped, staring at Sean. Her hand rose to her chest and Sean felt as though
